    Anyone who thought he was anything other than an unpleasant waste of space needs a serious head check. Listen to the way he speaks, he’s absolutely vile. It didn’t surprise me at all that he’s been stuck behind bars… I feel sorry for his son having a father like this.

If you have the time of day to write a comment like that about someone you need to get up and look in the mirror cuz you've got some issues of your own.

The way he speaks to people is disgusting and the language he uses is absolutely vile… in front of his own son too. He has no shame embarrassing his son by getting into fights either. He’s stalked his ex partner and threatened her with a knife with their son present too. Quite a lot of that on AFTV, or at least there used to be, which is why i stopped watching a long time ago.. id rather hear from professionals who played the game to get actual genuine insight so I can understand what's ACTUALLY going on and learn more about football as well. You have so many fans calling Arteta and Edu crap while you have actual pros praising what they are doing.. I know who's opinion I'll put more stock in and I really wonder why the fans can have the audacity to disagree so confidently with people who very obviously know better.
      As for AFVT, a glance now and then (as the YT algorithm as an Arsenal fan still brings it up) shows that at least as far as the "regulars" go, they seem to be cleaning up the image with people like James, Graham Cecil etc giving a more thoughtful considered and, dare I say it, sometimes optimistic approach .. (which is useful when its supposed to be our hobby that we're supposed to enjoy) .. Theres still a remaining smidge of the highly irrational and negative such as mr Dan Potts, but its certainly a better channel on the whole compared to how it used to be, and I hope that continues... because a lot of people who watch that seem to form their opinions based on what they hear these normal, non professional (in football) people say.. you can see it in the common phrases you hear every negative voice say like parrots.. "clown" "cone layer" "FACTS" "lets be honest" "accepting mediocrity" etc... DT was a large part of the negative, vitriolic (and lacking in actual football knowledge or at least objectivity) vibe of the show before.. im glad he aint on the show but sad this was how he was ousted from it. Best wishes to his ex above all else, but tbh best wishes to him as well.. hope he can get his head together and come out of it an emotionally stronger and calmer individual

      I feel like Wenger stayed for 4-5 years longer than he was supposed to. By 2013 he should have moved onto another club. I think the one year that really convinced me that Wenger had well and truly lost his ability to compete was the year Leicester won the league. DT's passion was never in question! But what it did do was give the impression many Arsenal fan were like him, and then Robbie was Cool & Calm most the time, or he didn't have a temper like DT. Add the fact that this is when TH-cam Fan Channels were beginning to gain more popularity around the world. I know they were know in England/UK already, and AFTV was the most well-known. popular channels. Then as he explained becoming a regular guest to part of AFTV, his temper and blowups about the teams performance appeared to be an Act. Until a couple arguments with Robbie showed he wasn't acting, I remember hearing others worried about him, if he got that Angry (almost Violent) among the others watching the game, what would happen when he was by himself in public and lost temper at wrong person. Unfortunately we now we know what happened and it such a shame. As someone who was never a fan of him, I do hope he has gotten whatever help needed and has learned from his mistakes. I've read many comments about some form of substance abuse being involved; whether its true or not, No one should speculate about it. As a recovering addict, close to 3 years clean, I know many people, people who are publicly known/on tv/local celebrities, they don't want that made public unless they are ones revealing it. Life is crazy, after Xhaka stormed off and swore at the fans whilst throwing the shirt on the floor everyone expected that to be the end of him, whilst no one knew he'd redeem himself and become a fan favourite years later whilst DT would be the most hated and in prison

    • @janda5816
      @janda5816 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, just wow… Xhaka never stormed off a pitch then went to a hotel where his ex-partner was, assault her and then man she was with then attempt to kidnap her. I’m pretty sure if he had done that it would have been the end of his career. DT actually harmed people, Xhaka harmed no one. If you can’t see the difference between the two I don’t know what to tell you.

    Towards the end of his time on AFTV he was much calmer but seemingly only because he had lost all hope in Arsenal ever being what it used to. Maybe it was something deeper than that but who knows? I wonder though what he thinks of having to hear about the recent highs and success from behind bars and not be there to witness it.

    We all have our faults. DT just needed to calm down and breathe. Perhaps he is now learning how to do this in the can. I'm not justifying bad bad behaviour I'm just hoping he can calm and sort out his demons.

    Trying to think of one redeeming feature from those clips you’ve shown. Looked to me to be everything that’s wrong with the worst type of football fan. Didn’t see anything “tragic” about his demise, just a loathsome human being who needs protecting from himself and the public.
