Her products are meant to be used alone. That cream does not go with tje gel...it's for twists really. The gel used alone actually gave me a 5 day WnG. Using products as they're intended to be used definitely helps.
Thanks for showing us! I use that foam alone. All of those can be used alone. Together they appear to weaken each other. The pop lock is good over the foam but even that isn’t needed necessarily. Just depends on the finish you’re looking for. I plan to try that with the foam. Love the foam. I use it under innersense icv. Also it’s probably still wet because you layered so much and the gel has glycerin in it. It works better without the cream so it can actually create a cast!
Hi Layla! I’ve used the foam for over a year and have had with no issues either. I still haven’t mastered using the Pop Lock yet. It’s just ok for me but the mousse works well for my hair.
The Doux products are stand alone products and are not meant to be layered to heavily. I have the gel and the mousse and I’m going to use those together. But you should’ve used the gel on its own and then used the mousse as a topper on top of the gel, the cream wasn’t needed. That’s why your hair took so long to dry because you had so many products in it. You can even use the mousse on its own as well. I’m not familiar with the cream because I don’t have it.
Thank you for sharing!! Congratulations on your collaboration! You work so hard and put so much energy into your videos, so you deserve all the blessings coming your way! Best wishes to you!!!
I almost got happy seeing your first day hair with the gel, because your curls are beautiful. I purchased the gel months ago, but I haven't used it yet, because the other videos I've seen, the feedback wasn't good at all. I wonder if the foam with the gel gave it a dry look the 2nd day. We all know that your hair looks beautiful and it's growing like crazy.
So I’ve never used C.R.E.A.M. but if I want a super defined wash and go I apply the gel and then the mouse, if I want more volume from day one then I apply mousse and then gel. I don’t need a leave in or cream underneath. And the gel has lots of glycerin in it, which can cause frizziness. I’m not sure about the cream ingredients.
Your 1st day results looked great! This gel takes FORRRRREVERRRR to dry for me as well & I hate that 😒 (it's definitely the glycerin) It feels good going on, but leaves my hair super dry... & I always use it with a leave-in... there's no way I would use it alone like it suggests...
I actually works well alone. She has a conditioner in it and it's made to be alone. She does say used a dryer with it also. The first time I used it, it took days to dry when it was air drying. With a dryer, it took no time at all and felt great.
Have you tried the not your mothers curl talk gel? I have a tighter texture than you but my hair pretty much likes all the same things as yours, I’d love to see a review
Hey your hair turned out nice, and you have a whole lot of gorgeous hair😘 That sucks second day hair fail, I have the gel but have not used it, just try using the gel with a leave in conditioner instead of that cream.
I can use the foam by itself, and I get a medium hold. It's a very moisturizing product and I can't some frizz, but it's not bad. The hold is too much for me. I'm more of a soft hold person. Would I buy it again? Probably not. It's not a bad product, but I like other products better--TGIN, Taliah Waajid, and Design Essentials.
Girl if that was enough hold for me that would make my life so much easier haha! But I feel you! I haven't tested out enough foams to have an opinion on them. I typically have to cocktail them which is why they're not typically my first option! I might check out the ones you mentioned tho! 👀👀
I really love your videos as your the only youtuber who I can relate to hair wise 😊 I have a curly girl question or maybe an idea for a video........ I have real trouble with humidity, my curls could look so great inside then as soon as I step outside POOF curls are gone and my hair has lost its hold, do you have any tips on how to handle the humidity and keep the hold on the curls please? ❤️
Hey y’all, I need help. Every time I style my hair, my hands are covered in millions of tiny hairs😩 Do y’all have any recommendations for conditioners/masques or remedies?
It sounds like breakage. Maybe you should try a proteine mask? Shea moisture's black jamaican castor oil line includes protein. I used to love ors hair mayonaise. It's not CG friendly though, but it works really well.
I tried the doux Cream and tbh I didn’t like it. I had the same results. Some hold but also still frizzy. And I didn’t like the next day results either. It’s not a bad product but it’s not the best either.
If I'm not mistake the cream and mousse can be used together. Big Poppa is typically used on it's on. The owner definitely doesn't use all 3.
I should've checked their video first honestly... I'm revisiting these products individually for sure! I didn't watch a thing, I just winged it lol

@@chicopedro19 honestly it’s one of my holy grails. I love it. What’s your experience with the glaze?

And you had to use so much gel because you added that cream first so it weakened the performance of the gel.

We have the same exact hair lmao but when I used this gel on its own I felt like it dried my hair out.... but I need to try it again
Both products are meant to be used alone. Not together. the creator has stated that on their Instagram i believe

Lol y’all will not follow directions then blame the product 😂
I love the doux! You’re actually supposed to use the gel alone. Its really moisturizing alone. I think the cream is more for twistouts ect
I'm revisiting these products because I feel they have potential for sure!
Could you use it with the mousse?
@@dayjaburton2710 yes ma’am!

My hair likes to be washed too! I think YT told us curly hair doesn't like to washed 😒
I miss your stylers battle videos hope to see a new one soon 😍 love you btw

There gel is better alone the creme cuts the cast and makes it very soft and slows dripping time
Trying it alone next time! Thank you! ❤️

@@LIO-ob7yj Oh wow, thank you for informing me! I have low porosity hair so how often should I use the protein treatments?
@@kaylinaE I'm not sure, but I thought that low porosity hair is more protein sensitive than high porosity hair. So maybe start with ones a month?

Beautiful
The Doux - misspelled in caption, FYI
I didn’t like the big poppa gel either
I don't like the mousse, I think that's why it did it.
