Just a short video this time. I came down with a nasty cold after my visit to the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal last week, so haven't had much chance to go out to make a video this week. But luckily, I have had some photos from Aintree Boats, showing the latest work done inside Gladys the Narrowboat, so I am showing them in this video, after a short introduction which I filmed today in Ross-on-Wye, a town which is near to where I live.
Hope you'll be impressed by the work they're doing in the boat. I'm hoping to visit Gladys again before very long!

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the update, Gladys is coming along nicely. The layout looks really good, Is it a standard layout or bespoke to your design? The only one criticism from me, is that those slippers in the bedroom do not look comfortable. Looked like a nice day out in Ross on Wye too. Take care Jeff, see you in the next video 👍
Hi Dave! Yes, looking much more like a finished boat now. There are basically 2 layout options: 1st, with bedroom at the back / galley mid-boat, and the other, known as 'reverse layout', where you have galley at the very back of boat. I chose that one as I've never liked the other layout when we've hired boats in the past. yeah, weather was kind to me in Ross, although I really didn't stay there very long. Mind you - long enough to go to the chippy 😉
