14:15 Fun Fact, that guy shooting the Indominus. I'd personally give bonus points because "That's Cooper!" and "Cooper's a professional he can handle himself" (Seriously, his name on the monitor is Cooper)
I love Zara’s just because it’s so haunting I mean the way she is trying to get out of its mouth and that you can still hear he screaming when it’s mouth is closed I mean Jurassic deaths don’t get much better than that
I actually really liked Burke's death, purely because the consultant for the film was Jack Horner who has a famous rivalry with fellow Dinosaur Renaissance pioneer Robert Bakker and Jack had Spielberg base Burke off Bakker. Bakker found the situation hilarious and was in good humor about the whole thing, telling Horner "See, I told you T. rex was a predator!" in reference to Horner's hypothesis that T. rex was primarily a scavenger.
The udesky one always stuck with me for some reason. The slow approach by the raptor and the nonchalant way it dogs it's claw in his spine paralyzing him. Brilliant
I absolutely loved the Dieter Stark death, I thought it made for a great change from the usual, innocent people get eaten by big dino, and I loved the way they made they made his death unseen but known by the screaming and wailing and the blood in the river was a nice touch as well
I already thought Zara's death was the most disturbing one given how drawn out it was, then you point out how she's moving/aware in the mosa's mouth before it closes so she was probably swallowed alive...that makes it so much worse.
I would rank Dieter's death higher due to one fact: In the books the compys are described as poisioness. That makes the scene even more dramatic to see, knowing he loses his control the longer the compys are folowing him. As I noticed it, I felt very sad for Dieter...
I have to select Muldoon for best death as well. Right from the get go Raptors are built up to be the main antagonists and Muldoon knew first hand they were to dangerous to be kept alive let alone as a park attraction. Important to note that JP broke grounds in the sense that T-Rex was largely depicted as the most terrifying of the dinosaurs while Velociraptors (despite paleontological size differences cough frog dna cough) took the world by storm. There is no awe and fear like with the T-Rex. There is the human-sized bipedal hunter that can go inside buildings with extreme display of intelligence and communication and pack coordination and there is you. The "Clever Girl" moment/meme is THAT GOOD because in those 2 seconds everyone realizes the real order of the food chain. The fact you don't even SEE the death in its entirety versus the Gennaro one in of itself makes it 10x more frightening (ditto Arnold, despite rather weak-looking arm). In fact, the dinosaurs in general across all the movies are scarier when you can't see them in full body shots because what you can't see is scarier than what you can. Jaws destroys other movies in terms of death-by-creature because of this. IMO, JP did a better job with making the Raptors scary than JW with Indominus or FK with Indoraptor. If you wanna select deaths for spectacle however, Gennaro in the toilet/Long Grass/Eddie Carr/Dieter/"Assumed" Billy death do their scenes justice in their own way so they are the most memorable ones besides my pick above. Looking forward to next video Evo o/
Last comment of mine, I swear. Your ranking of Zara’s death is PERFECT. And honestly, even though it’s one of my all time fave movies even I didn’t notice that detail of Zara still trying to climb out of the Mosasaur’s mouth. That gave me chills. Thanks for sharing that!
I know how to make Zara’s death even more gruesome: Mosasaurus have a second set of teeth by there throat. This would have crushed Zara and the pteranodon
This is a great video I think that most people only do top ten list but this it just pure quality. The only thing that I had any form of “problem” with was the compy scene. It was said in the book that the compys were venomous and that it basically put the person on drugs I think that’s why in the end dieter stark was not doing so hot in the end. GREAT vid and there were plenty of little jokes in this that made me laugh. Well played, well played...
My favorite deaths always involve bad guys getting eaten but if I had to choose, I love seeing the Baby Rex making his first kill. The look of pride on the Buck's face is so adorable. But c'mon, you gotta give a bonus point for the one ACU guy who brought a legit shotgun to face the Indominus. That was the only smart guy on that team.
@@EvolutionSquare The guy brought a legit shotgun when his teammates brought non-lethal equipment. In my book, he was the smartest person there. He was ready to put the Indominus down. :)
Carter's Death in the Lost World was always hilarious to me, not for the death itself, but solely on a technical level; the position of the Doe Rex, mainly her legs, and the distance of the fleeing hunters just in that one clip alone was so inconsistent that the way it's shot makes me think that the Rex is staring LITERALLY straight down at the crowd in front of her, that or the humans are being chased by a giant pair of T-Rex legs and nothing else. Great Vid by the way :)
3:15 I have a feeling people don't know you're parodying Michael Jackson's song, Ben here. This cracked me up so much. Masterful lyricism (and singing) here, Evo.
I didn’t "get” a lot of the horror elements in the first film when I was younger. I may have been 7 when it released and I didn’t pay much attention to the dialogue, as I just wanted to see dinosaurs. The first time I saw a trailer for TLW, they showed the scene of Deiter running away from the low camera. Something about that really got to me. I think it’s because the Compys seem so frail and somewhat cute at first. It isn’t until you see the strength they have in numbers, their persistence, and their ability to swarm their prey that it really hits home that just because something is small, it doesn’t mean that it’s not dangerous. Even though I still feel Deiter got what was coming to him, the images of him still running away, despite being worn down and isolated, and eventually being overwhelmed was chilling to me. At least when the larger carnivores eat you, it’s usually over quickly. The compys are too small to do that. They pick at you, they tear you to pieces, and you are alive. You are helpless. You are being killed by painful erosion. Of all the deaths, I think this one, along with any underwater deaths, would be the ones I’d absolutely dread happening to me.
Firstly I absolutely love this video 😍 the editing was great loved all the subtle jokes and I really liked your commentary you delivered your points really well:) congrats 🎉on passing 18K subs and looking forward to the stream♥️♥️♥️and secondly my favourite JP franchise kill is actually the same as yours (no spoilers) it's just that the scene had such a huge impact on me on my first viewing of the film:)
just because the novelization gives a crappy explanation for it, doesn't mean that palpatine magically returning in star wars is okay. same situation here.
It's actually already established in the first and original book. Hammond gets poisoned and killed by Compys in the book, much like Dieter in the second film.
One last thing I loved the indoraptor smile because it makes him look like a really smart animal I also the raptor's setting a trap in jp 3 because Alan said that they were smarter than humans
Rank Indom Paddock higher and you have a decent ranking. I know you didn’t like Jurassic World but it’s the second best movie out of all of them (most people agree). Keep the vids coming though! I love watching your channel grow!
The reason I say this is because the “holy crap” factor at that point is HUGE. We just learned the Indominus Rex set a trap, the Dino grabs the guy (as you mentioned) and we get to see his death shortly after and a quick glimpse of the super Dino. It should rank higher at least because of the way it impacts most people the first time through as we realize just what the Indominus Rex can do.
I don't personally understand why people were *so* outraged, but there is a definite difference in the way the two scenes are shot. And that difference is important. Eddie's death is more moody and horror, Zara's is more spectacle and bright and cheery. In a movie, lighting is everything (Steven Spielberg actually told this to the cast of JP while filming). Lighting makes the difference between romcom and horror. Eddie's death is lit like a horror, Zara's is lit like a romcom, or a superhero movie.
@@EvolutionSquare true, but I guess that works subconsiously as everyone was like "only the bad guys should die in JP" when that has never been the case But yeah I feel that JW is shot like a blockbuster just wanting to show dinosaurs instead of making a movie about how horrifying manipulating nature can be
What you said at the end about Wu realizing what he has created is brilliant cause it's a direct salute towards his death in the Jurassic Park novel as he discovered his creations were breeding and then gets brutally killed by his own creation
The snake wasn't harmless, It's poisonous. And I don't blame burke because I would freak out too and would most likely forget about the tyrannosaurus also
Top 5: 1. Lawyer toliet scene 2. Whoever that rich guy was who got mauled by the baby t-rex 2. Cheese ball paleontologist(who chooses a t-rex over a snake?) 3. Main villian in Fallen kingdom 4. Hoskins(we're on the same team...) 5. Random guy in the street trying to get into a store(lost world) It's like my old DM always said, stupid actions have stupid rewards, which is why I get somewhat concerning levels of joy from all these deaths.
Mr. Arnold's leg was supposedly also in that scene, Ellie trips over it in her frenzy trying to escape and that's why she's limping her way out of the compound
I agree with you on zaras death being the best, I fell realy bad for her as she was only doing her job and I fell she was there because Clare was to busy or couldn't be bothered spending time with her nephews, I also felt bad because the boys didn't realy like here and neither did the dinosaurs lol

in the Dieter death i think, it was to be a reference from the book where the compys have an venom that relax the body at the point you don't feel any pain (except for Dieter) and you can't move your muscles
My favorite death scene is the scene with Eddie. It was unexpectedly visual and he really didn't deserve that as a character. But the scene was just so good.
When I was a kid ray Arnold's arm was the grossest this in the world to me Also Muldoon, Nedry, and the lawyer (I know his name I just can't spell it lol) will always be the best deaths Also also I really hope we get more innocent deaths in dominion because we haven't had one since Zara
I love the look of pride on the bucks face as the juvenile eats ludlow, like the proud father observing his childs first kill. I have to say that i was surprised that Dr. Wu was very much alive in Dominion, but it turned out to be a good thing in the end.
Everyone counts "Trigger"'s attack as a death in kill counts and whatnot. I don't think he's dead, he was able to shoot a gun and Blue fell over immediately after. So I don't think he's dead.
“Yellow Submarine!” - LOL “The generation that talent skipped!” - LOL Some of these captions are *HILARIOUS!* Credit to Zara’s actress, Katie McGrath, she did all the stunts herself. They asked her if she wanted a stunt double, but she said no and did them herself. As for “Georgie”, I do like that the implication is that the Mosasaurus was leaving the lagoon anyway, saw someone dangling within eating distance and went “ooh, a midnight snack!”
At 11:40 you said that the unlucky bastard/David Koepps death scream sounded cartoonish, and that you were taking away points because of it. If you got your stomach bitten the same exact way by a T-Rex, you would be making the same exact death scream. The T-Rex bit the raptors stomachs at the end of the first Jurassic Park and those two raptors made a weird noise too. And David Koepp/Unlucky bastard made a weird death scream when he got his stomach bitten by the T-Rex because that’s what happens when a T-Rex bites your stomach, you start making death screams and gurgling sounds because your organs have been fatally damaged by knife sized teeth. I like his death screams and gurgling sounds, I don’t care how cartoonish you think they sound. They sound very realistic because the first sound he made, the “Huuaaaggghhh” sound was from him getting the air quickly forced out of his lungs. The second sound he made, the “aaaahhhh” scream was from him in pain, and the third sound he made, the “eeeellll eell el” sound was from him choking and gagging and gurgling on his own blood that was rushing to his throat after he suffered damage and bleeding to his organs. Then when the dinosaur put him down, he sounded like he was out of breath because he said “ugh.” So yeah, the sounds he made were VERY REALISTIC. His death is my favorite in the entire franchise. I hope the T-Rex will bite more people’s stomachs in the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion and I hope they make similar death screams and gurgling sounds like David Koepp/Unlucky bastard. I hope the T-Rex bites their stomachs while it’s rampaging through a city again.
So let me get this straight? You included a butt-load of boring human deaths along with a few good ones. But forget the trauma that I experienced as a dino-lover in the Jurassic World dying Apatosaur scene? You are cold Evo, very, very cold.
dino's are going to be in a different ranking, exactly because I'm typically more affected by animal deaths in movies, so they'd have an unfair advantage
Fun facts:if you look at udesky’s legs when the group are staring at him in the trees, you can see that they had clawed at the back of his knees to keep him down, Zara wasn’t swallowed she was shredded by a meat hook type thing in the mosasaurs mouth that would help it eat food, Ajay (the “don’t go into the long grass” guy) was gonna have a death scene but it’s was scrapped,
I would watch the Jurassic park movies at my grandparents house, and when a dinosoaur was about eat somebody, my late grandmother would would say; “oh look lunch.
I'd LOVE that! It would be soooo cool to hear the hooting of the Dilo from the darkness and this time we get to see it as a full grown, large animal and make that kill.
Zara wasn't swallowed whole. The Mosasaurus (not sure how to spell it) has a second set of teeth in the back. She was chewed to bits before she was swallowed. I doubt she even felt a thing.
Hey evo after seeing camp Cretaceous s2 they say that compys have venom so Dieter's death will rank higher when you do an update including the dominion kills
I dont have a problem with "good people dying" (see Eddie, that scene is perfectly fine) but I have a huge problem with Zara's death. It is far too much, far too gruesome for just a simple person trying to do her job. That is a villain death. Or if she died right at the start and that is what happened to her body I would be fine with it. But her alive the entire time is too much for me. I have to skip that scene everytime.
The scene where carter gets stepped on was a part of a cut scene where one guy gets thrown and tossed off screen and lands on carter that’s why he’s on the ground already
As cheesy as it sounds, I feel like Simon's death could have been better delivered if it were slowed down as the helicopter careened towards the ground, cutting from horrified face to horrified face, and maybe even a silent scream of "NO!" when the heli goes up in a ball of flames.
The raptor jump scare in Jurassic park gets me every time even when I expect it you know it’s coming so you wait ages and then you expect it to happen in 1 second then bammm
''What happened here? Eric doesn't know, Ben doesn't know, the viewer doesn't know, and the movie doesn't Know'' 😂😂😂😆 - Udesky's death is one of my favorite deaths - Mosasaurus death scene from JW looked phenomenal - Indominus Rex killing the armed crew looked great - And if billy died in Jurassic Park III .. That would've been one of my favorite death scenes - The Tyrannosaurus eating Gennaro When it comes to the Spinosaurus first appearance and Mills's death scene in FK, I see it opposite to you .. I think the Spinosaurus CGI looked great, and the T-Rex CGI in Mills's death scene did not look good
The best death of jurassic park/world is the death of nedry, he was killed by a dilophosaurus. fun fact : when i was young i was scared and i have nightmare about this death.
You know Zara had a painfull death when the lego game tells you that the mosa has a second row of teeth that stops prey from sliding down its throat. qwq Also it is I raptor jezus in space >:3
10:10 I think the elevator should have opened by the indo raptor ramming into the controls, because of the flashing lights on it confusing it, because it follows lazers
I don't think that Dr Burke was more afraid of the snake than the T Rex, I just think that in the spur of the moment (already being on edge after the T rex attack) his fight or flight instincts kicked in at the worst time possible. Also about Dieter Stark, compsognathus have been discovered to have a poisonous bite so Dieter would have been getting weaker because of the poison.
14:15 Fun Fact, that guy shooting the Indominus. I'd personally give bonus points because "That's Cooper!" and "Cooper's a professional he can handle himself" (Seriously, his name on the monitor is Cooper)

ACU in Evolution: Chilling in the Indominus paddock with a camera

My favorite death scene is the scene with Eddie. It was unexpectedly visual and he really didn't deserve that as a character. But the scene was just so good.
Nedry’s death was always my favorite in the franchise
When I was a kid ray Arnold's arm was the grossest this in the world to me
Also Muldoon, Nedry, and the lawyer (I know his name I just can't spell it lol) will always be the best deaths
Also also I really hope we get more innocent deaths in dominion because we haven't had one since Zara
Donald Gennaro
I love the look of pride on the bucks face as the juvenile eats ludlow, like the proud father observing his childs first kill. I have to say that i was surprised that Dr. Wu was very much alive in Dominion, but it turned out to be a good thing in the end.
I subscribed
That song got me, you are a mastermind :'D
haha glad you liked it! Hope my singing didn't make your ears bleed, but I had to do it for the joke :P
@@EvolutionSquare You sing quite well, and if you find joy in it, then it doesn't matter how good you are :)
Everyone counts "Trigger"'s attack as a death in kill counts and whatnot. I don't think he's dead, he was able to shoot a gun and Blue fell over immediately after. So I don't think he's dead.
“Yellow Submarine!” - LOL
“The generation that talent skipped!” - LOL
Some of these captions are *HILARIOUS!*
Credit to Zara’s actress, Katie McGrath, she did all the stunts herself. They asked her if she wanted a stunt double, but she said no and did them herself.
As for “Georgie”, I do like that the implication is that the Mosasaurus was leaving the lagoon anyway, saw someone dangling within eating distance and went “ooh, a midnight snack!”
Are you going to do an updated version of this video?
I hope the T-Rex bites their stomachs while it’s rampaging through a city again.
ahuh... bite a lot of people in the stomach, do ya?
Evolution Square yeah, are you a female ? Or are you just using an animatronic female voice ?
So let me get this straight? You included a butt-load of boring human deaths along with a few good ones. But forget the trauma that I experienced as a dino-lover in the Jurassic World dying Apatosaur scene? You are cold Evo, very, very cold.
dino's are going to be in a different ranking, exactly because I'm typically more affected by animal deaths in movies, so they'd have an unfair advantage
Fun facts:if you look at udesky’s legs when the group are staring at him in the trees, you can see that they had clawed at the back of his knees to keep him down, Zara wasn’t swallowed she was shredded by a meat hook type thing in the mosasaurs mouth that would help it eat food, Ajay (the “don’t go into the long grass” guy) was gonna have a death scene but it’s was scrapped,
Cant wait for the livestream!!
tty soon!
can we all say that the Raptors in JP have the best death scene
Dinosaur deaths will be a separate ranking video ;)
Oh I can’t wait for that!! 👌
22:56 The scene with Rexy and Moser really shows you nature always has a backup
First comment, like, and view. Keep up the good work Evo!!
Lavernius Tucker no u wasnt
I would watch the Jurassic park movies at my grandparents house, and when a dinosoaur was about eat somebody, my late grandmother would would say; “oh look lunch.
Love the video. You should maybe try face cam someday.
Maybe one day, but not in the near future
The fact that Zara is still alive as those jaws came down. Mosasaurs have a second row of teeth, so she got straight up impaled.
I liked this video and I agree with everything you said in it
My favorite death scene is either the Clever Girl, TOILET OH TOILET YEAH, or Ken Wheatley's Death
I hope that in Dominion we will get a death from a solo that is a recreation of the dilo kill in the book
I'd LOVE that! It would be soooo cool to hear the hooting of the Dilo from the darkness and this time we get to see it as a full grown, large animal and make that kill.
@@EvolutionSquare oh that dilo hooting, the best dinosaur roar in the franchise
Off topic are you doing a live stream on jurassic world evolution
yep! in less than half an hour!
Ok im ready for it ill be in the chat
Your song for ben’s death was great
haha thanks :P
Note on Dieter: he couldn't fight anymore because of the paralysis. It explains this in Jurassic park novel, during Hammond's death
finally some deaths
Hi evo
Zara wasn't swallowed whole. The Mosasaurus (not sure how to spell it) has a second set of teeth in the back. She was chewed to bits before she was swallowed. I doubt she even felt a thing.
Hey evo after seeing camp Cretaceous s2 they say that compys have venom so Dieter's death will rank higher when you do an update including the dominion kills
First almost as always on your videos
I dont have a problem with "good people dying" (see Eddie, that scene is perfectly fine) but I have a huge problem with Zara's death. It is far too much, far too gruesome for just a simple person trying to do her job. That is a villain death. Or if she died right at the start and that is what happened to her body I would be fine with it. But her alive the entire time is too much for me. I have to skip that scene everytime.
I agree. What do you think of the Unlucky Bastards death? The bystander who gets eaten in San Diego 11:32
@@j.h.6124 Its fine. As I said, its quick, he is scared and then gets chopped. Its not a long drawn out affair like Zara.
My favorite is Nedry in the novel. Am l allowed to choose from the novel?
you can do whatever you want :P
Great! Then nedry in the novel for me
What park theme are you doing in your next live stream
a big ol' mountain on Nublr 1993
So your basicly doing a montain park
big mountain!
A big mountain park?!
@@dynoboi2375 sorry lol, my first reply didn't show for me, so I wasn't sure if it was posted (hence the double reply). But yeah, just a big mountain
Fun fact the mososaurus is able to tear off 4 feet of flesh with its second upper jaw meaning each person eaten by the mosasaur died grusomely
''What happened here? Eric doesn't know, Ben doesn't know, the viewer doesn't know, and the movie doesn't Know'' 😂😂😂😆
- Udesky's death is one of my favorite deaths
- Mosasaurus death scene from JW looked phenomenal
- Indominus Rex killing the armed crew looked great
- And if billy died in Jurassic Park III .. That would've been one of my favorite death scenes
- The Tyrannosaurus eating Gennaro
When it comes to the Spinosaurus first appearance and Mills's death scene in FK, I see it opposite to you .. I think the Spinosaurus CGI looked great, and the T-Rex CGI in Mills's death scene did not look good
What are your Opinions of the deaths in Camp Cretaceous?
Dark,brutal,epic
@@brianstabile165 lol
First :)
The best death of jurassic park/world is the death of nedry, he was killed by a dilophosaurus. fun fact : when i was young i was scared and i have nightmare about this death.
When I was a kid, I was disturbingly fascinated by his death.
You know Zara had a painfull death when the lego game tells you that the mosa has a second row of teeth that stops prey from sliding down its throat. qwq
Also it is I raptor jezus in space >:3
10:10 I think the elevator should have opened by the indo raptor ramming into the controls, because of the flashing lights on it confusing it, because it follows lazers
Zara and nerdy deaths are always my favorites
I don't think that Dr Burke was more afraid of the snake than the T Rex, I just think that in the spur of the moment (already being on edge after the T rex attack) his fight or flight instincts kicked in at the worst time possible. Also about Dieter Stark, compsognathus have been discovered to have a poisonous bite so Dieter would have been getting weaker because of the poison.
