…for sure 👍 this first set up area wasn’t optimal. From what I’ve seen so far in others pitching this tent. Most use a side pole on the lower side. But again, as you say with more trees around you can probably get around that.
The extra flap above the stove jack is to rest against the pipe to divert the rain around it :)

This is a diy. And it’s 4,2 meters. Haven’t had a chance to use it much. But it works and does the job.
