Amazing to have someone as experienced as you sharing your knowledge! At big post facilities, once a monitor like the HX 310 is no longer hitting the gamut well, do the facilities need to start implementing LUT calibrations, as opposed to simply using the internal monitor controls?

Wonderful tutorial! Very interesting to see how to set-up the HX310 per input and content type.
I noticed one thing - for the meter profiling, you used the standard Four Color Matrix Method. I know Bodner was developed for WRGB OLED, but I have read some recommend it as potentially being better than FCMM for other display techs as well. Any thoughts?

Hello. When will CalMan hardware calibration be available on Toshiba OLED? (toshiba oled 65 x9900le)

    Extremely helpful Content!
One question though, Is C6 accurate and precise enough to calibrate a reference monitor?
There aren't any detailed specs for the meter.

What's that stand the HX310 is on?

This was very informative and useful! I have just a question: if a monitor lacks the selection of a native mode but it still offers different wide gamut options such as P3 or Adobe RGB, what would be better to profile the colorimeter with? Same color space of the final calibration (e.g. profile the meter with a 709 reading of the spectroradiometer for later calibrating the monitor to 709) or should we profile the colorimeter with a wider gamut representation? If we can't get a "neutral" color representation would it make sense to read values from a different gamut than the desired final output?

For meter profiling you should choose the widest colorspace on the monitor.

What would be most helpful is to have some automatic ambient light cancellation capabilityadded to Calman design.

more like "tax writeoff" product with no real application.

Ironic that the quality of the lighting in this video is very poor, even in 4k it's fuzzy and the illumination is just rotten. Color is awful.
