Late wife and I saw this, on stage live, in Portlandia (Portland, OR). What a great time we had.
Sounds good...I would like to see a full big band: 5 saxes - 4 bones - 4 trumpets. It would sound even better!

I'll admit to being a fan of JT's early instrumental synth music of the late '80s. I saw him live, first as a 2nd keyboard player for YANNI... yeah... that Yanni. Then saw him again as a solo act about a year later playing his synth/jazz/rock/fusion style music. Very fun stuff. He lost me when, I guess, he fell in love and started playing sappy romantic stuff on the piano.... as did Yanni. Early Yanni synth music is really fun. This concert is great, and I did not know he sang so well...……
hes pretty much a competant musician and decent arranger... with a flare for the camera and marketing... and... WHO CARES... its still DOPE AS HELL!!

und einem super Tontechniker alles aus einer kleinen
Big Band musikalisch herausholen kann...
