I did RTTY during my army service in Germany in the 80s on American AN GRC-26D equipment. Thank you very much, your video brought back some nice and interesting memories. Keep up the good work - keep the old machines running. BR from the Rhineland in Germany, Stefan
Awesome hardware. I have a pair of operational Siemens 100 machines, set to 45.45 and they still work wonderfully on-air. I have my callsign in the answerback drum and a bunch of paper tape scraps as ready to go 'macro's. If you must wear a tie while sending, make sure its a bow-tie! Text messaging before mobiles were ever thought of...
You 've got a very good job, man! the tech is old , but still cool! And that could be the thing which can be used while some kind of desaster happened and we can't use our cell phone. ^__^ Is it through the radio?
Good evening I m writting from Spain. I have a radio set PM5 , from 1939 . I think it was made in Gemany and also was used in the spanish civil war . Maybe you may help me to find an squematic of this equiment. Thanks

I'm guessing that it wouldn't take too much to set up an Arduino to code and decode RTTY signals....
