Just saw the ]V[EGADET]-[, Lamb of God, Trivium and In Flames show two nights ago..and have to say that The Bay Strikes Back Tour was MORE Kickass EPIC AMAZING!! I'd LOVE to catch these guys on the second leg, if I can! 🤘🤘🔥🤘🤘🗡💀👊
Death Angel/Forbidden was my first metal show, in '89... And they are opening for Exodus and Testament in my town next month!!! Exodus is my fav band of all time... Testament are undeniable kings... And it would only make sense for Death Angel to kick off my return show, just like back my first show back in the day!!! We aren't old brother... We are just still living thee best era of Metal everrrrrrr🤘

Ow man, Am I glad to see Gary still kicking ass after all these years!!! Exodus had been one of my all time favorites. At some point I owned all of their albums but then I sold all my CD collection. I've seen these guys live about 8 or 9 times and even shared a stage with them in 2008.
Saw them a couple days ago in Dallas and was front row right in front of Gary. Dude ruptured my ear drums but it was well worth being so close to a metal god
Thinking of going to see Testament/Exodus/Death Angel next month in New Mexico!!! Exodus has been my favorite band ever since I was a young fella in the 80s!!! Death Angel was the first real metal band I saw live (Death Angel/ Forbidden 1989 where I grew up in Pennsylvania!! I was 14!!!)... I haven't been to a show in like 8 years (except for a couple doom metal shows at smaller venues, and even smaller local hip hop shows lol)... It would be incredible for Death Angel to kick off my return show, just like being the 1st band I saw live in my youth lol!!! Testament are legends, goes without saying. Honestly, that show will be a bill of THEE 3 BANDS FROM THE Heyday OF 80s/90s metal uprising, THAT STILL WRITE NEW, SICK, MATERIAL!!! many of our favorites just keep playing their classic old skool stuff (don't get me wrong, I love it, I'm old skool myself), but the 3 I listed, all have some incredible albums released over the most recent couple years. Death Angel actually impresses me the most, with their second to newest album especially. But ya can't go wrong with any of these guys !!!

@@satanlaffing Yes, it was. Death Angel was awesome, as was exodus(main reason i went) spent the first half of testament in merch line, but was able to get back to the pit for the last half, and was well worth it. Arrived at 6:01 for the free parking, because who pays $27 ? lol

A. & i left during the last song to get in the merch line. by the time i was done & found my spot again., & a few minutes later, EXODUS came on. i got that loud-ass 80s neon colored TESTAMENT: THE BAY STRIKES BACK tee. did they charge for "tax"(i guess) at your show too?
They are into playing hits only now. To attract more the trend?! Metalheads like it all, More than often we stay away from hits that we got tired to listen to after few months or weeks sometimes. Black album was a good heavy Rock album from Metallica but i never listen back since the 1990s. I did listen to Ride the Lightning this morning tho.
At the 31 minute mark.. The singer picks the balloon/ball up then tears it open with his teeth.. Then tosses it back to the crowd.. Extremely disappointed in that.. Unnecessary. All he had to do was kick or throw it back to the crowd. Someone paid money for that.. People were having fun with it. Was a great gig so far as well.. But that put a dampener on it for me.. Totally unnecessary.
