What a lovely surprise; thanks so much for solving my puzzle! Your channel actually introduced me to variant Sudoku so to see a puzzle I set appear on it is wonderful and a little mind blowing. Great solve, too - I'm glad you enjoyed it. ~ Rob
I finished in exactly 14:00 minutes. The combination of the circles rule with the counting lines made for a really fun pathway. I very much enjoyed speedrunning my way through this one. It's a good break between the difficult ones, so an approachable sudoku is always appreciated. Great Puzzle!
That was very fun, both to solve (which I did before watching) and to watch you solve, Mark. I enjoyed that very much. I love the variety that this channel offers.
I opened the puzzle and found to my surprise I had already did it! Turns out Logic Lemur Gaming featured it back in July. My time back then was 26:09, but since I don't remember any of it I thought I'd do it again. I still needed a killer sudoku calculator to determine the contents of the circles, but this time I finished in 11:14.
The way I deduced the maximum circle value was 7 was to see that there are 7 lines ... so if 8 was in a circle, that would mean that at least one of the lines had _two_ circled 8s, which would make it impossible to put any digits on it!
I came to the same conclusion about 8's, but by realizing there were only 7 boxes with circles. Narrowed it down to 7 by realizing that 6 would require 4-3-1 for the other numbers and there were too many places where you'd run out of room between 6 and 4.
32:16@#3059. I'm not to fond of circle rules, but this one turned out ok. I figured out quickly that all of the circles and lines had to be 7 or less, and that helped move things along. I almost flubbed it at one point, but I was fortunately able to recover.
Yea its in my nightmare: decided to not read the rule at all >> stare at the puzzle for days >> decided to finally read the rule >> first sentence is "normal sudoku NOT apply"
15:37 after looking at the video to see why I had a deadly pattern and my solution wasn't counting as "correct" to find that I mistyped a 1 instead of a 4 right at the end.
You're doing a fantastic job! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I used a completely different break-in than Mark, asking where I could put 7, 8, and 9 in box 7 given that circles couldn't go higher than 7 since more than half the circles couldn't have the same number.
Seems like too many givens for mark...was hoping it was at least colourable without givens. But had 20ish cells remaining. C3 gives away the circlecount digits and 189 become one colour

Hah. Solved this puzzle. Knew most of the secrets, I'd guess. Still went on to solve it in such a convoluted manner, Mark far outpaced me.

17:20 ... a most pleasant solve
Nice puzzle!

❤ an approachable puzzle! ❤ secret techniques! ❤ the blue sweater/jumper!
I like that sweater, too.
Once I got the circles it was a very approachable solve, done in 8:49

6:32 for me. Very nice puzzle!!
A nice little puzzle. 16:59 for me.
21:28 very nice logic
Always pays to read ALL the rules, not just look at the grid lines….(wish I did that!) Great puzzle once I saw Marks breaking
Yea its in my nightmare: decided to not read the rule at all >> stare at the puzzle for days >> decided to finally read the rule >> first sentence is "normal sudoku NOT apply"
Very enjoyable puzzle.
00:20:59 - 😊
Nice break-in.
This is the funniest sketch all season. Who cut it from the live show??
23:53 for me
nice puzzle
20:55 for me - broke it a little towards the end. Nice puzzle though.
Around 20 minutes for me, pretty similar approach to Mark ...but I just can't finish up at that speed !!!
20:07. Very fun
15:37 after looking at the video to see why I had a deadly pattern and my solution wasn't counting as "correct" to find that I mistyped a 1 instead of a 4 right at the end.
55:47 - I wasted at least 15 minutes trying to resolve the last 4 digits as I’d completely forgotten the circles rule!!!

I got to about 10:55 pretty fast, then got stuck for a loong time. Finished in almost 30 minutes
I accomplished in 14:19.
I gave up

24:26 for me and solver #1976.
15:57 for me, 1 second shorter than the video length!
Very nice puzzle - quite approachable. Do give it a try, the break-in alone is very satisfying.
I got the 9 in box 1 straight away. Now stuck. Gave up.😢

8:29 for me. not a great time. i spent too much time on the logic. way more than needed.
