Love these old films, it was a quieter time. Ah! the joy's of youth, regards Ireland.
Bit of everything on here, Mullion Cove, Polruan to Fowey crossing with the old China clay ships, Tintagel post office and Boscastle.
And this perfectly sums up why I love my home county. Great these old films are.
This is superb! I’m 64 now so would have been 9yrs old in 69, visited Cornwall many many times and I can relate to the footage. Thank you 👍
Fantastic thank you, there was Mullion cove harbour too, with the end of the quay seen from up the hill a bit.
how lucky we were
Funny I had just watched this on your TH-cam channel before you put it here. Some great footage but I think Cornwall has change quite a lot since this.
Yes it has in many ways. I walked the South West Coast Path a few years ago and was very much reminded of that when I scanned this film.
Great video, very nostalgic, music's perfect. May I ask what the music is or from pls?
Hi Thanks for the comments. The music is called "Leaning On the Everlasting Arms" by Zachariah Hickman. It is part of the royalty free audio library available on TH-cam for use in videos.
I have so many fond memories of most of these places. We had a family holiday every year in Cornwall. I still visit several times a year. Another dreamy film! 😀
