The Mini 1 +2 had turbo + strobe in tactical mode. So you could choose by switch if you want turbo or strobe. I have no idea why they choose medium on the WM3
@@johncacey For me tactical mode is for emergency. There I want to have quick direct access to turbo or strobe. If I just need some light I have the time to use the sideswitch and choose the level I need. So for me this change is a struggle. I didnt bought the WM3 yet just because of this.
hey john , just got mine the other day , the exact same color too, LOVE IT 1000% , my main e.d.c. is a klarus g15/4000 lumens tactical flashlight though , i have a nebo torchy 2k flashlight here for trade/swap if your interested , let me know , thanks n talk soon > tom !
Olight basically markets their products like they are Jesus, and then one fails and the haters pound it into the ground. Also, the Oligt fanboys are INCREDIBLY obnoxious. Olight is just another good quality Chinese brand in a sea of options. I love the WM3 because I trust the brand, and it checks all of my boxes for an EDC. Is it better than Cloud Defensive? No. But does it fit my needs better? Yes. And Olights are actually pretty bomb proof. (Look up the Torque Test Channel's durability video. A Warrior Mini 2 outperforms a Surefire, which I think is hilarious to show the SureFanbois)
Yes so far I am very impressed. So much so I just sold a high priced grail I had. The WM3 just fits my needs and at only $90 its hard to justify a higher priced light.
Hell of a review. Thanks John
No problem!

Yeah, it would be interesting to find out why they chose that.

@@Gieszkanne Yep!
The clip is 2-way, you can orient it either way. I do like the Mini 2 in this regard better, though.
You can, but the tail cap sticks out further, if you do. And yes, I think a lot of people prefer the design of the mini two in that regard.

Give NUTNFANCY a look he runs Olight also and isn't sponsored
Oh wow, ya he runs stuff pretty hard!
40 minutes reviewing an Amazon flashlight? TH-cam algorithm...if you're listening pls. 🧃😅
I would not consider this an "Amazon" flashlight lol! Olight is a higher end company who makes a great flashlight.
Look at NUTNFANCY he gives hour long reviews of Olight
