I was hoping you would mention the "Adidas All In " commercials. There was one specifically that I really loved...mostly cause I am biased. But had shots from the first MLS meeting between Seattle and Portland. There were a couple of other MLS teams in that commercials along with Messi and Beckham. But seeing the fans that were at that game and a packed Football stadium in MLS was a really powerful commercial. Gives me chills when I think about it.
Then the commercials for Beckham was essentially false advertising since he left to AC Milan for about a year on loan almost as soon as he signed for the Galaxy, then when he finally came to the MLS, he couldn't play for awhile because he screwed up his ankle in Italy.
One thing MLS could Do better with the ads is instead of saying this is our league, it could have commentary highlights in the ads about the finishes with the goals from the players. I think they should combine having ads with the global super stars a long with having ads with the universal players of the league. Given that people have to pay $99 to watch 1st division MLS on Apple TV , those ads should be everywhere :)
One of my favorite commercials as a kid was the Adidas "pick-up" commercial where kids were playing pick-up soccer and start choosing legends to play on their team and the legends actually appear. It wasn't an MLS commercial back then but some of the lads have since come to play in MLS so it might as well be! Lol
I find it funny that the target add doesn't really feature Minnesita United out side of a couple players, when Minnesota was actually sponsored by Target and you would assume they would feature more.
A couple years ago I decided I wanted to watch my home MLS team, about an hour and a half drive from my town. I already had ESPN+ for La Liga, but it turned out that ALL local team games were blacked out, both home and away. So, I gave up and didn't become an MLS fan 🤷♂️
Adu was so good when he was 14, people don't understand, now they think it's crazy he was compared to Pele but at the time it wasn't hyperbole, he was that good It was more crazy in terms of any 14 year old having those kinda of demands and comparisons to live up to and the pressure that goes with that
Oh I actually kind of like the Power Rangers commercial. You can literally tell who was a huge Power Rangers/Super Sentai fan by how much energy they put into it.
MLS just feels so corporate now, and too "clean" for lack of a better term. It feels too buttoned up and it needs to be a bit more quirky and edgy. Pairing with Apple needs to elevate the marketing 100%, so far it hasn't
Sorry Danny, I do skip the ads
@@Thatguyinyourclass sadly due to that you've been automatically relegated to the second tier USLC creator MannyCStereo.
I got the Messi Lowes ad in the middle of him talking about the lack of Messi ads
I feel like every video Danny has a new look

Ariaga Ariaga 2 Bariaga Aruglia and Pizzoza and they’ll all be sighing autographs!

That Doordash one is catchy, wished they did do it with the fans wearing different MLS Kits
It's good to see you back.
Old commercial MLS were much better.
Better than the Apple TV ads for mls
This is why I love thid channel, he can make videos about anything MLS, even ads

And next: Leagues Cup recap!
I think it's just the current style of ads this generation. Then again, NFL does a good job with players showing their personalities.
Almirón doing an MLS Power Rangers Ad is Peak! 😂. Next to his Fusion Pose 🥰
The "bloody big deal" commercial is pretty iconic for tfc fans
I got a commercial when you said that you needed to get paid 😂I watched it out of respect haha 😂
Sooooo, when we getting that long-awaited USLC, USL1 and USLS video just asking for a friend
I see U Danny with the Pat McAfee Type special, Keep it Up. 💪

Sure miss the MLS in the 2000's. The old MLS logo was the best.

it's true, the marketing for the league is so bad

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
ok wait you have been uploading but yt hasnt been recommending it for almost a year wth
If the league really wants to draw new fans in they need quality marketing. Otherwise there's no way MLS will grow.

Have you ever thought about making a video about leagues cup?
0:07 BRO I HATE THAT COMMERCIAL
Mls should have made a commercial when messi was joining mls
Yeah, all the leagues used to have really good commercials that actually hyped you up for a game. Now they are pretty bland.
