For those who are wondering about the text in "Somewhere in Russia" it's a poem written by Alexey Groshkov (dj Trickster) of the BK family. I used the text as a tribute to BK for being so nice to me at their party BK-33. Sadly I didn't know exaclty who had written the text until Alexey emailed me a few days back. Also he is kind enough to try to get it translated into english

Glad you liked it. If you are referring to the orange beam, I believe it's called a FASOR (Frequency Addition Source of Optical Radiation), used for astronomy experiments. The radio telescopes are from the VLA (Very Large Array).

You can find this song off of the album Twentythree (by Carbon Based Lifeforms obviously). I got hooked on CBL after buying another one of their albums on Amazon (I think it was on sale for $5). If you like this, do yourself a favor and at least get Interloper. A lot of good songs on that job too.

All true although the telescopes using the FASOR to create a laser guide star are no radio telescopes. They are optical ones from the VLT (Very Large Telescope).
