Inasmuch we should not believe in charm or superstition, but as the adage goes: If ain't broken, why fix it? Maybe, just maybe, changing uniforms for the Kings shouldn't happen because as turned out after 2003 season is the beginning of the end. They never return to conference finals. Same goes to Houston. Why change uniforms for a team who won back-to-back, including an improbable run in 1995? With a new-look outfit and homecourt, they got dethroned by Seattle in a sweeping fashion and only once appeared in the conference finals (2018) since.
Finally some Wang Zhizhi highlights 😂 … jokes aside the Kings were the hottest team in the league going into these playoffs and seemed destined to win it all until that sketchy Lakers series

I watched that game live at that time and have been searching for it for 18 years, but I haven't found it. I would greatly appreciate it if you could find & upload it!
My oh my- Double technical- Bob Delaney nailed two players- C-Webb and Shawn Bradley. Testy moments!!! Shockingly it wasn’t Joey Crawford who would normally hand out the “T.”
Scot Pollard wins this with his textbook vintage 2002 streaked spiky hair/goatee combo, were he allowed an eyebrow piercing in game he would be on a big triple double.
I loved both of these teams, I was pulling so hard for this Kings' squad back in the day..
it was hard not to root for both teams. Both had great players. Great hard game.

LA Lakers switched in 2000 then won the chip…same goes for San Antonio in 2003…but all upgrades were needed…
