2019 Season Race 11 of 12
Daytona...the only track that the ADRC races on twice in the same season. Will anybody climb closer to Jeff Purvis with the points lead? We will find out in our first step in the Florida Run to end the season.

Oooohhhhh man!!! Lol!!! Ssssoooooo close... great race, congrats Red Pill, very nicely done.. had a little wabble just before going into the turn on that last lap and and it cost Bud the win. Hell of a run for Bud in these last few races, hopefully he can keep it up for the last race... Great job as usual Rhyno, thanks for all the work you put into these races.
We battle it out to the end again. The 75 car gets through the turns better than every otheR RPR car. Ken is the only one that could have made that pass from the outside. Bud held 3 Of us off as long as he could. Great battle and lots of fun as always.

I agree with you. It was close.
And Bud almost did it again a 2nd time. Fending off Red Pill Racing for the win. He did it last week at Darlington. But Daytona he came up just short. Quite heartbreaking to see. On the last lap too.
But of all cars Ken Castillo and the RPR outside line.
Had to use old school RPR tricks and Ken just outsmarted Bud.
Tough to say it but it was a good race. With it in mind there is always a greater chance next season. Good finish from Bud though. Just gotta look at the bright side.
@@MrREDPILLhimself Yeah Bud for Nero 62 almost pulled off the same feat as he did last week at Darlington. But the outside line somehow someway and I don't know how or why but Ken Castillo pulled off the old school power move on the outside line and passed Bud to take the checkered flag. Also talking about winning for someone special.
I know that Ken won it for you guys and the rest of Red Pill Racing but he also did this for Kobe Bryant who was tragically killed in a helicopter crash last week or something like that.
So for that reason I think you guys can consider this win to be the race in honor of Kobe Bryant.
I know basketball isn't your thing but to see a NBA legend like Kobe to be killed in a crash like that is the biggest tragedy in NBA history.
Prayers to him and his 13 year old daughter. 🙏

Daytona is always seem to have a surprising outcome. Purvis has got some competition going into Homestead. It should be a crazy finish to the 2019 season.🏁

Not much to say that I haven't said before about this wonderful track. As far as the points all I can say is that trophy is waiting for team RPR to come and take it.

Great day for Red Pill Racing. Our top 2 in points did what we had to do to close the gap and have a shot going into the final race. Can't wait!
I think I predicted you would surge up and take the victory. J. Purvis has that bad head issue still after Biffle plowed him. He tends to get tired as the infinitely long season drags on. He couldn't close the deal last year either. And with his contract up he may be out a ride for 2020. Good Luck on catching him though...

Thankx for watching. The deadline to attempt qualifying at Daytona is Tuesday February 11th. If it comes after that, it wil just attempt qualifying in the next available race.

Careful now, not supposed to criticize the garbage corner... Absolutely the worse corner in diecast racing for high speed weighted cars. Not what it was ever intended for by the designers at Max Traxx. But, it makes great 'el Wrecko' Highlight reels.

This was the first time I watched one of these vids and it took me a bit to catch on but I got it. My only question is why does the title of the video say "2nd race" when the standings say it is the 11th race?

I’m so confused! Why was this recommended? Why did I watch it and watch every second of it? Why did I have cars I was actually rooting for? Did I (a 30+ y.o. man) really just totally enjoy watching some little toy cars go down a little basic plastic track? Whatever, Great stuff man!

Just basically the RPR strategy and the classic Ken Castillo with his brilliant set of moves.
Actually that same move happened in the Daytona 500 to start the year. It was mostly stocks then, but 89 Mattel blew by on the outside of the last lap to take it.
@@sub4ra I think both of my other cars had already tried it in the main event but could not get it done. Ken was the only one they could pull it off

@@michaelsdiecastgarageracin1583 put a push and repel magnet system inside the tires just strong enough to keep the car in motion and on the track. A front rubber spoiler might help keeping it on the track.

I sent 2 cars ...I built two other ones bet they were 100 grams ..I might make a couple more ..just scrambled to get those 2 in by the 25th cause I thought it was the deadline

While I have always made my videos family friendly, my target audience has always been adults. Most of those cars that raced were customized by adults to race faster.
