Felt nostalgic so I looked up Makati on TH-cam for this exact type of vid. I sometimes miss my hometown. I spent the first 12 years of my life in Makati, born and raised. Born in Makati Med, lived in San Lorenzo Village, and I attended Don Bosco Makati until 1st year high(before the transition to K-12), which I think was equivalent to 8th grade in the US. I had so much amazing memories in this city. My dad and I would often go to Magallanes, where there used to be a park there, and we'd exercise and practice my taekwondo lol, then we'd eat at the Pancake House. I'd take the cab from my school to the HSBC building(Paseo and Ayala Av) and I'd do my homework at the food court on the upper level overlooking the busy intersection, while waiting for my mom to get off work. Then we'd go get pastries and coffee at Figaro café(my fav was Sans Rival) at Greenbelt 3 or get baguettes at Deli France in Greenbelt 1(the one with the the mini grand piano in the middle lol). I'd get my school supplies at the National Bookstore in Greenbelt and go get our groceries at Landmark. Spent numerous birthdays in the McDo in Greenbelt 1.
Then there's this mall, which I think is not there anymore, called "Park Square" and they had a stall there where you can get Japanese pancakes. I also took piano lessons at Yamaha school of music that used to be in this mall, across a Kenny Rodgers lmao Then I'd go to the Powerplant mall to meet up with a club where I played Pokemon cards and you can get stamps and challenge gym leaders to get badges. Then my dad would treat me for a banana split afterwards lol It's been a while since I visited and it's fun seeing new things and also pinpoint old things from your video. Wow, what a rush of memories 😊

Mbuti pa dyan sa Pilipinas, tolerant ang mga tao sa mga vloggers. Hindi katulad sa lugar namin. Titignan ka ngmasama o pupunahin ka.

Kasi, maraming Pilipino mahilig sa social media and putting yourself out there. At the same time, like what someone mentioned, there are lots who want to be sa mga videos ng vloggers, na pa-epal and not sense of personal space. They you also add to the fascination and admiration to foreigners visiting the country. So it's all a combination of things that contribute to Filipinos being more "tolerant" to vloggers. But if you really think about it, most people from big cities don't really care. Just go to New York, Paris, London, Tokyo, etc. and start vlogging and people wouldn't pay much attention to you. Maybe if you do it to smaller to medium sized cities when people get more tribalistic and suspicious of people they're not familiar with.

@@dariable7023 nitpicker ka, talagang gagawan ng butas para magmukhang masama ang nakasanayan at customs ng mga pinoy. Filipinos are mostly social individuals. We are the social media capital of the world and the majority are accustomed to the concept of vlogging.

Jeepneys should only be confined to tourist areas and select routes. They need to replace them with modern buses really. Some jeepneys are too old and decrepit and past their sell-by-date. Some of them can be annoying and undisciplined.

In England we have designated stops. Which means I ask the driver to stop, he drives past my exit to the drop off point then I have 5 minutes walking back the way we just came. I much prefer the taxi style of hailing and getting off and on when I want.
