Cool build. Tried it but its like 50-50. Usually anyone decent was able to either delay my castle age by forward tower or army (Archers). Or just walled and went castle age himself with better eco. Knights just arent as good as steppe to break in and get vill kills. Monks are good but bottom line I felt ARCHER civ just destroy this if played smart. Scouts civ i was able to beat easily with small walls.
Men, if archers come to you obviously you must change the strategy and not wallarte the berries but when they come you move them a little even if you go up to the castle a little later it will be viable because the one who made archers to attack you spent resources and that will delay him too
Yes, it has the exact same weaknesses as the steppe lancer build. I lost to a drush/archer build yesterday with it. I think the main use of this build is to try and get some map control to get the relics. Against archers you could add a siege workshop and make a few scorpions and delay the monastery
If you have a woodline with a gold mine next to Morley rush is OP cause you can protect both resources with a simple tower and then 4 knights destroy any feudal army. So i think it depends more on map gen rather than civ match up
