Hey Tiffany! I’m a teacher and I think the best way to get the kids into a groove would be to make a schedule for them. Block out time for different academics. Also make blocks in between the academics for lunch and a recess or break time. This would break it up and make it not seem as daunting. As an incentive, you might could block off half a day for a “break day” as a reward. I hope this helps. ☺️
I had to homeschool my foster daughters age 14, 12 & 6 for a while. One thing I changed right away was the lounging in PJs. When they did that, their minds didn’t seem to turn on for a long time. But when we got that rush of adrenaline of getting ready for school as if they were leaving their minds were alert when they hit the computer. I tried to mirror school schedule as much as possible even with recess & lunch so that the only thing that changed was the environment and the people in it. I’m glad I did that because it made for a very easy transition back to school:) Best of luck to you while home schooling. It’s a whole new full time job to add to your day:/
Homeschooling can definitely be stressful, especially when you're just starting and have never done it before! But good for you for going for it! You get into the swing of things after a while, and it is so worth it. Tiffany, you're doing amazing!
I think homeschooling works so much better when the kids still get up and get ready along with the other kids. This means they are ready to go for the day and is a good way to show them the day had begun and it’s time to work. Scheduled breaks or break targets is also good e.g. if they finish something they can then take a break and so on
Finally a TH-cam family with some privacy for their children not having to tell the internet every detail of their life! So glad you respected the decision to not discuss why the kiddo is choosing homeschooling. keep it up Mama and Papa Nelson
A separate room for study would be a good idea. That way the kids will associate their bedrooms for relaxation and fun, but the study room will be associated with studying. It’s important to have designated spaces. I hope that helps! 💕

Tiffany is such a great mom and raises her kids super well. I'm really impressed that two people can handle 16 kids. One thing that I love is that Tiffany gives her asks her kids if they do want to record because it may be personal. They are all such one great and happy family!
It took us a full year to get used to homeschool and create "our way" and systems that worked for us. Timers helped us a lot. We would set it for certain activities and it really kept us on track. Also, mine definitely liked having a separate space. Helped keep distraction away! Praying for success! Homeschool can be VERY rewarding
being a teenager, I love your idea of prizes! Keep that idea and your idea of checking on them every 45 minutes! Keep them out of their rooms, their rooms set a mindset where they just want to have fun and relax. I also saw someone else’s idea of block scheduling it and making that a schedule which is great! keeps them from getting overwhelmed and distracted because they can get a break in between classes, have lunch, etc!
I love how supportive you are. Grace is a wonderful thing for everyone, including Mom! Also, what you're doing, while yes, the kids are learning at home, is technically "public schooling at home," which is BY FAR the hardest form of "homeschooling." I'm not knocking it, because each family needs to do what is best for them. But true homeschooling according to the legal definition in Utah, where you fill out an affidavit and turn it in to your district and you take full responsibility for your kids' education, and no one is putting their agenda in place, is a lot easier, in my experience. Every homeschool family has a different opinion about the matter, but that's mine. So I have mad respect for you doing it the way you are.
I suggest designating an area or room in the house for homeschooling. This arrangement will create an atmosphere of formality and bring the kids into a learning mindset; they need to know they are on the clock (not on their own time). Successful homeschooling is contingent on the students developing self discipline, which would be difficult if left unsupervised in their bedrooms.
Tiffany, I love how your helping and working with how each of the 3 kids feel comfortable. I was just like PresLee, I loved doing work with/close to my teachers. I have ADD so that was also why it helpful. I actually got held back in 3rd grade cause it was around the time I was diagnosed with ADD after I was starting to not do so good in school. Good Luck with homeschooling!
I was homeschooled all my life until grades 11 - 12 and it was the best experience for me! I loved the flexibility and the freedom it gave me to have life experiences outside of school. Since I received a weeks worth of work at a time, I definitely found that focusing on one or two subjects a day helped to motivate me to finish all the work for those subjects for that week. Once I'd done that - it gave me freedom to do whatever else I wanted throughout the day. I would also finish all my hard subjects first - like Math and English, and leave the fun subjects last so when I was least motivated in the week, I'd have work that I enjoyed to do. Also remember that transitioning to homeschooling can be hard sometimes, give yourself time and space to adjust and work out what works best for you. Love you guys ❤
Tiffany is literally the best mom ever. She cares so much for all the kids to make sure that they are all happy and are always feeling great. Love you guys so much xxx💗
I hope that all of the kids are enjoying their home school! Although the situations that have caused them to start homeschooling many not be too great I’m sure that this is a better option for them! I also think that PaisLee, PresLee and Luke will for a stronger bond through this. Love you guys ❤️❤️

Hi guys! I love how PresLee and PaisLee are brave enough to tell their mom how they really feel about going to school and everything. I love how Tiffany made so many big and little things to make them feel better. Hope the homeschool goes well!❤
The amount of work and dedication you put in for your family and all with a smile and a positive + understanding attitude is unreal, I do try to channel your energy when I feel like I'm stuggling with something
I do homeschool right now and I do my school work in the morning and take occasional breaks so I don’t get bored and restless. I put away all distractions and I always have water and gum next to me. When I am done doing my work I put my stuff away and rest my brain. One tip I have is to have your work space plus your room clean because I myself find it overwhelming to have a messy workspace. Another thing is that you’ll find your flow. For me it took 3 months to find my schedule. Just take your time and and try different schedules and methods 😊
Some people are writing mean stuff and saying that prizes is not the best way to do homeschooling and saying that PressLee just wants to do what PaisLee is doing. I think Tiffany is an amazing mother and if she wants to give out prizes that’s her idea and I agree that she should give out prizes . Respect her decision don’t tell her what to do it’s disrespectful and the mean comments is just rude. I am not mad I am just saying to stop writing some mean comments.

You’ll get the hang of it, a lot of it is learning what works best for your kids and what they need. Your a great mom and homeschool mom!!!! Love your channel!
As somebody who was homeschooled for a year or two, I found it much easier for me to have a set up space just for school because if there was to many distractions I couldn’t focus and would just do other thing. I have also been watching you guys for a while now and you never disappoint. Please do more lunch videos those are my fav❤
Having an general schedule that is consistent (but at the same time flexible) is an absolute necessity. For older kids Having a planner to sit down and write out what you need to do the morning of or night before is really helpful. We also don't let our kids have access to screens until work is completed. Otherwise they never do their work.
And the last month was not a disaster…….it was a learning month 😉 and when you are learning you make mistakes, you need to find YOUR way ❤️ So Tiffany, with being the amazing mother that you are, I applaud you for speaking about your feelings in front of your child eten! The good and the bad 😊😁
The fact that Tiffany made so many kids have a happy family is amazing, and as someone who is adopted I know how it feels. I really hope she knows that she changed her those kids lifes
A good incentive for the older kids might be a European summer course like Shakespeare in England, A Chinese summer camp, a month in Spain etc. Good for the older kids and it helps them leave the nest when its time for college, though your kids seem pretty independent and there are no cling-ons in your household by the look of it.
I got homesch ooled in year. 4 because I am soverly dyslexic and got bullied for it but I rlly missed school and when I went back it was the best I also got extra help on reading and writing
I’ve never watched this channel before but can I say everything your doing for you kids is amazing, you care for them so much and I have to add you are just beautiful inside and out!❤
Edit: clearly I should have watched the whole video as you mention most of these 😂 Hey! So, I have my degree in elementary Ed, and I’m actually pursuing being a tutor for homeschool kids (as well as teaching my own children if we are blessed with them.) Here are my two cents. 1. Routine Routine Routine. Pick a certain time when they start their work every single morning. This tends to ease the stress around starting to work/motivation. Maybe even incorporating a schedule just for their homeschooling. 2. Reach out to local homeschool moms. There is no shame in asking for help if your kids need it! I know when mine get older they may need outside help with math😅. There are lots of tutors that can come and help with difficult subjects. And the homeschool moms in your area would know who to call. 3. Patience and Grace. This isn’t going to work right away, and that’s fine. You gotta find your home’s rhythm and how you guys operate. Praying for the best for y’all! Homeschooling can be super rewarding!
Hey Tiffany, I know there was drama with kassidy, but I don’t think kicking her out of the trip was the best idea. Because if you watch kass’s video about taking her sisters to the mall you will see that the girls pranked her by ‘losing kass’s credit card’. And you will also see that some of the girls kept on asking for things even though kass didn’t have her card. Some of them were being very spoiled even though kass always buys them everything they want. So, maybe you should let kass go to Palm Springs because she was just trying to do something nice for the girls, but they didn’t appreciate it. Good luck on the trip and safe travels ❤️
Home school truly has amazing affects on some- I think they all find relief in it. I’d LOVE to see a lot more homeschool videos! Tbh PaisLee needs her own channel ( if she wanted one )! ❤❤❤
Tiffany your such an amazing momma!!! Your kids are so blessed to have you guys as parents and of course they make it all worth it.. all the kids are so well behaved and do amazing!! ❤️
I have just started with homeschooling and my dad is my teacher, I will be going in high school next fall and make them learn what there interested on. I’m only 13 years old so I hope you kind of learn from this and I think your going to be great on homeschooling
Tiffany you are the role model that everyones parents want to be like you. I love you . Keep on doing what your doing you are an amazing mum . Love you lots
Hey Tiffany I love how you do devotions in the morning I love how it prepares them for the day they will have and tell Pasley that we love her and are praying for her ❤😊
The incentive I’d give is do schoolwork at home or go back to public school each child needs to learn to find their own incentive internally it helps with self discipline in the world
I have already commented on this video a few days ago but I have only just thought about if PresLee were to have her school area by her egg chair she could get a small table on wheels because it is portable and well a table I think it would be a good addition especially if it is one that folds up them it would have easy storage and access but I also think it is a good idea to have her stay where she already is because of the reasons you said in the video and more I love how you make your children always so comfortable no matter what and make them happy like I feel when watching your videos I love your channel 💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️
I havent watched the whole Video yet, but Tiffany you are amazing! And kiddo's your Mom is taking a ton of responsibility on extra to keep you, feeling safe, happy, and out of main stream. Help her out be doing your part and what is every kids single responsibility to school. Participate, do your assignments and take your on line lessons seriously. Not every Mom would or is able to help their children this way. Maybe putting up the phone and only having restricted to school online classes during the Homeschool Day is how you all can help Mom make you successful in this Homeschooling period. God Bless Tiffany and Benji ❤
Lets just take a minute to realize that Paisley and Presley are both going through a hard time but Paisley gets a room makeover impress like it’s absolutely nothing lol😂
Tiffany is the best mother in whole world. She understand What her kids need and feel. For example she didn’t force PresLee to say why she is homeschooled. She is doing an amazing job as a mother and a person.
keep up the great job! At least you have kids to hang out with in the day im a kid and I go to school but I used to be homeschool and it was a lot of work for my mom! heyyy!
Have Preslee use a body double for cleaning! The struggle is maintaining, not the initial clean. She may have some undiagnosed ADHD. Not trying to diagnose, but there may be some things lurking within! I resonate a lot with her and my diagnosis was rough to get!
@@jessicamaria1107 yep! Now I’m 24, heavily struggled in school and always had a “bomb” of a room. A tick in the attic. Everything. But when I did clean, the small part I did was immaculate. just couldn’t remain focused to do the entire thing. Now, diagnosed. I’m pretty steady all around! Work a corporate job, have a salary, my own insurance. It’s neat how much learning and routine change is necessary in a world meant for neurotypical people, which ADHD friends are NOT. you have to learn how to live in the proper world for you! :)
Just curious on the thought behind incentives for doing school work? Just with my upbringing things like school were not an option to be flexible. Also curious on how the kids that go to school would feel about not getting an incentive for going to actual school but the children at home do.
Maybe it’s just me but giving your children prizes for doing school work gives them the impression that they’re doing school because there’s a prize at the end. The other children don’t get prizes simply for going to school and in the long run it may damage their attitude towards education. Giving them a proper desk to work and fixed hours, making it more like a school day may make things easier to tackle and mean you don’t need to be so vigilant over them all. I hope you work out a solution that works for you soon though❤
Maybe not the younger children but she said that the high school students got prizes. We do similar with my son. If he will maintain his good grades etc. we draw up a little contract that if he gives it his all then and maintains the criteria in the contract that he can choose from like 3 different options. Plenty of parents give money for good grades, chores, etc. In a way schools offer rewards/incentives as well. You could say that kids shouldn't be rewarded for chores either becuase they need to learn to clean thier own messes, rooms, and help with other things in the house. If an incentive helps to motivate a child in this day and age and to make learning more fun for them maybe especially if kids are struggling for whatever reason, we all know times are changing and I think that school and learning is harder now for kids than ever with all that is going on in our world today. Kids need more encouragement, caring and grace at times. It's ok. The rewards they may receive at home may be all that is recognized all year long for them. How many parents get upset at awards days at school because so many kids will never receive an award based on what schools think should receive awards.
@@abbyvinson93 I don't argue whose money it is or how much. i was just stating I didn't think that it was bad or wrong to reward kids for doing well in or with school. Whatever it might be that's offered. It sounded to me like they thought it was buying the kids off to do something they should do regardless. That's why I said what I did about awards and rewards that shcools offer. It's all a form of wanting or trying to encourage. Whehter it be monetary or otherwise.
And PressLee has a personal reason for being homeschooled, and it’s not nice to say that she wants to be like PaisLee. You heard PressLee in the video she has a personal reason to be homeschooled and in the video she said she does not want to tell us and that’s fine just don’t assume it’s very disrespectful that goes out to everyone not just the person who wrote it.
Delaynee is there now!! I have missed seeing her! ❤❤Ledger is so adorable❤ Edit: I think it's Luke, delaynee, Preslee and paislee Edit: where did delaynee go? We never saw her?

Can we just take a second to realize that Tiffany cares so much for her kids. ❤

I love how you adjust to what each kid needs but with not knowing what PresLee’s issues are, I think she just has to follow whatever Paislee does.
I’ve never watched this channel before but can I say everything your doing for you kids is amazing, you care for them so much and I have to add you are just beautiful inside and out!❤
Thank you so much!

Edit: clearly I should have watched the whole video as you mention most of these 😂
Hey!
Tiffany does so much for the kids and she's amazing and happy birthday Tiffany 💕💕
Let’s take a minute to appreciate the effort and love Tiffany and Benji put into all these videos! ❤❤
Hey! My mom would recommend taking devices and writing a schedule so they can check it off
You are the best mother and so hard working and i dont know how you take care of 16 kids so impressive bye
Tiffany and Benji are such amazing parents they are so kind helpful and caring for there kids!!❤
Congrats On 2M, I Am Soo Proud Of You Guys ❤
tiffany is so supportive ❤❤
Tiffany is such a great mom to her 16 kids.
I hope this gets 3k likes
Why would it?
Tiffany you are such a nice and supportive mum and you care so much about all you children the ones that are adopted and the ones that aren’t
I love how Tiff is always so nice and loving and makes sure her kids are happy in life 🙂
be honest all the comments are saying let’s just appreciate everything the Nelson fam do for us 😂
Seriously
Not Enough Nelsons is the best family channel ever!!! I love how Tiffany works so hard for 10 kids! 😊
Lets just take couple minutes to just appreciate how good of a mom Tiffany!!
Tiffany you are the role model that everyones parents want to be like you. I love you . Keep on doing what your doing you are an amazing mum . Love you lots
Hey Tiffany I love how you do devotions in the morning I love how it prepares them for the day they will have and tell Pasley that we love her and are praying for her ❤😊
The incentive I’d give is do schoolwork at home or go back to public school each child needs to learn to find their own incentive internally it helps with self discipline in the world
Raise your hands if you love Not Enough Nelsons✋🤚Ant Tiffany is such a great mum and try to make her kids as most comfortable as they can be😊

“The older kids get $100 for every A that they get”
I get straight A+’s and all I get is a “Good job” 😭😭
sameee
but we have to remember that they are rich tho
I have already commented on this video a few days ago but I have only just thought about if PresLee were to have her school area by her egg chair she could get a small table on wheels because it is portable and well a table I think it would be a good addition especially if it is one that folds up them it would have easy storage and access but I also think it is a good idea to have her stay where she already is because of the reasons you said in the video and more I love how you make your children always so comfortable no matter what and make them happy like I feel when watching your videos I love your channel 💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️
Hi Tiffany! You are so motivating and do so much for your kids!
Lets just take a minute to realize that Paisley and Presley are both going through a hard time but Paisley gets a room makeover impress like it’s absolutely nothing lol😂
ikr and luke is the only one that got 300 dollars when preslee and paislee got 500 like bruh
@@whoispeyton9469 he only got 300 bc his homeschool is part time and when he goes to school the other half he could get a A and get 100$
@@aesthetixx_.123 OHHHHH now it makes sense!!
noticed we haven't seen much of delaynee recently. i hope she is ok and remembers that we will always love her
Tiffany is the best mother in whole world. She understand What her kids need and feel. For example she didn’t force PresLee to say why she is homeschooled. She is doing an amazing job as a mother and a person.
keep up the great job! At least you have kids to hang out with in the day im a kid and I go to school but I used to be homeschool and it was a lot of work for my mom! heyyy!
let us just take one minute to appreciate everything tiffany does for her kids and for he subscribers we love you so much.
Have Preslee use a body double for cleaning! The struggle is maintaining, not the initial clean.
She may have some undiagnosed ADHD. Not trying to diagnose, but there may be some things lurking within! I resonate a lot with her and my diagnosis was rough to get!
you actually made a really good point here. if that was the case or even something similar, i can see why she would want to keep it private
The only kid that I didn’t see doing in person school or homeschool was DeLayNee. Just curious about where she was.
she just doesn’t like being on camera as much, but i think she still goes to school with ellecee and beckham
Just curious on the thought behind incentives for doing school work? Just with my upbringing things like school were not an option to be flexible. Also curious on how the kids that go to school would feel about not getting an incentive for going to actual school but the children at home do.
Oh my heart is so again so happy your vids are just so AMAZING and heart warming
I want to be part of not enough Nelson’s
Same girl same

@@leslieroberts1592 $500 dollars is a lot though! It’s her choice and her money too.
@@leslieroberts1592 Sorry, I was trying to reply to Sofia. I guess I accidentally replied to you.
@@abbyvinson93 no worries. I just wanted to clarify what I had said. Thank you.
I didn´t see DeLayNee
I love your family so much! Your doing great as a homeschool mom good luck!
Hi I have been homeschooled and I would recommend a timetable and also a homework and school room to have a set place but make sure it is fun
Why did you get Paisley or Presley sorry I don't remember which one but why would you give them $500 and you gave Luke 300 that's not
Because they literally said he's doing every other day so it adds to 300 the girls have it every day so it adds to 500
Because he still goes to traditional schools half the time and he is still eligible for the 100$ per A that’s why.
Because Luke already has a Chromebook and PaisLee and PresLee don’t have a Chromebook
@@sunflower_yt3326that just doesn’t make sense
And PressLee has a personal reason for being homeschooled, and it’s not nice to say that she wants to be like PaisLee. You heard PressLee in the video she has a personal reason to be homeschooled and in the video she said she does not want to tell us and that’s fine just don’t assume it’s very disrespectful that goes out to everyone not just the person who wrote it.
What happened to Delaney
I like your ideas! Flexible with a goal! I'm going to do some of the things you talked about! Good luck guys!
