Let me tell you some information about our languages. Language experts after so much of research have classified Sanskrit and north Indian languages as Indo-european branch and 4 south indian languages are branched under Dravidian languages. And the language experts included Brahmins. My mother tongue is telugu and I know tamil as well and I can understand Malayalam and I don't know kannada but those who know telugu and Tamil can grasp kannada language also. And it takes common sense to tell that these 4 Dravidian languages are on it's own, it has not derived from other languages. And according to some historians telugu is as old or even older than sanskrit and Tamil is oldest known language in India. And coming to your another doubt that telugu words resemble with sanskrit thing. Take example of the word sea: in Telugu we call it Samudram (this is sanskrit derived) but original telugu word is Kadali, Vaada. Another example is take the word air- in Telugu we have words called vaayuvu(sanskritised word) and real telugu word is Gaali. And take the example of word Son- we have telugu words like kumarudu, putrudu (sanskritised words) and real telugu word is koduku. And there are so many such examples. If you have observed my examples we speak pure telugu language words and sanskritised telugu words. And we are confusing that telugu is derived language as sanskrit is vanished so it might be old. But that is so false. People like us in internet believe this, you ask any expert they will laugh at this theory. And the reason why we have so many sanskritized words in Telugu is that our ancient Kavis who had written so much of telugu literature intentionally used sanskrit and modified it into telugu and used them in their writings because some telugu words will not rhyme properly and in olace of that some telugufied Sanskrit words rhymes good and aesthetically sounds good. So they have incorporated sanskritised words. We should know our history, it is the honour we give to our ancestors, Dravidian languages are older than sanskrit and have great literature and poets. Tamilians have acknowledged it and they are eliminating sanskritised words and respecting their thousands of their history. Even though we couldn't eliminate Sanskrit words it is okk, atleast we should know our history.
