I did "a lot" of reading this summer about storylines from step back books. 😊LOL I revisited A Wrinkle in Time, Island of the Blue Dolphins, and started rereading Narnia. Also read some cozies and mysteries. 🍎📚🍎
Did you? I didn't notice! 🤣😂. Where would we have been without your research? It was AWESOME. Thank you again for all of that!! You just named all of my favorite books from my childhood/tween years!! I love it so much! 🥳
Can’t wait to dive into Kate Batemans new series. I have book 1. I also want to read Julie Soto. Her books sound interesting. And of course you have convinced me to try monster romance with SE Wendel. I don’t know when, but I do want to give her books a try.
I can't wait to read Tangled Up In You! Tangled is one of my favorite Disney movies, besides Ladynand the Tramp & Beauty and the Beast. My favorite read this summer was Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros. ❤😊
@@mamaneedstoreadromance 5 stars! I loved it. Did not figure out the killer until the heroine did. Got a kick out of him giving her the nickname Noodles. 😁
OMG! This was HILARIOUS! It reminded me of Jenny on Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis- when she would pretend to be "Deb." Oh man! I love it! And, you are my new go-to watch! Thank you for the GIFT of you! If you start a Patreon or something- TOOT THAT HORN! I would totally join!
I missed out on some of your videos this summer, so I'm catching up now. The books I most enjoyed this summer were: The Good Part by Sophie Cousens In a Jam by Kate Canterbery My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren Star-Crossed by Minnie Darke Same Time Next Summer by Annabel Monaghan The Duchess War by Courtney Milan The Second Chance Year by Melissa Wiesner
OOOOH! I've only read The Good Part. I really enjoyed it! I love so many of these authors. I'll have to add many of these to my TBR! Thanks so much for sharing! 🤩
I have so many of those books in my pile to read! I loved An Offer From a Gentleman. I still think my favorite of the Bridgerton books was When He Was Wicked. And I did get Aerie by S.E. Wendel so I can’t wait to try her books.
Oh you are going to LOVE Aerie, and the other book in the duet: Haven! Those are some of my favorites by her, and I know others who feel the same way. I can't wait to read When He Was Wicked!! 🥳
I can’t wait to start Aerie!! It’s my next book. I hope you enjoy When He Was Wicked when you get to it. You’ll have to let me know what you thought of it.😊
Oh I read Fated as an ARC. It was so good! I haven't read the other ones yet. I just finished An Offer From a Gentleman. It was wonderful! I loved Sophie and I really hope next season they do their story.
Yes, Linda!! I actually saw a promo of Benedict getting his tux as if he were going to a ball...a teaser to let us know season four will be An Offer from a Gentleman!!! 🥳
Favorite reads of the summer that also had a summer theme: The Prospects by KT Hoffman and You Should Be So Lucky by Cat Sebastian, both are queer romances involving baseball.
@@mamaneedstoreadromance I'm pretty sure The Prospects is their first published novel. It's m/m, both MMCs play Triple-A ball. One is cis and one is trans, and it's also grumpy/sunshine.
Reylo is pronounced "Raylow." That fandom pairing was also the inspiration for The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood and The Nanny by Lana Ferguson. (The covers of all of them are very inspired by Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley).
OMG wow!!!! This is FASCINATING to know!!! Thank you so much for your insights. I loved the other two books you mentioned, and am so excited to see them in a new light! ❤️
Oh my gosh, I relate to this comment so much! 🤣 Yes, and Scarlett Scott works on different series at the same time. She's such a prolific writer! (I'm not complaining, but it's true, there's a LOT to choose from!) 😃

Love the opening skit! A bunch of these are already on my tbr- can't wait to get to them!
Thank you so much! You'll have to let us know what you think of them, Jan! 😃
Also I love your skit at the beginning! So glad they are back, I missed them! ❤
I missed doing them! I have no shame, clearly. 🤣 Thanks so much, Megan! I hope you're having a super week! 😃

The ROM Commers sound fun. I still have to read Kiss the Girl from the Disney adult retellings. I’ll get to halfling one day 😂
SOMEDAY! 🥳 So many books, so little time. 😃

"Boss, that's over!" Love it🤣
Thanks so much, Vy! 🤣
OMG Vy, did you add columns with ways to find the book to the Google Doc?!? You're BRILLIANT!!!!! 🥳
Yes, I hope you don't mind! I thought this might make it easier for people to see what is there and to add to it😬
