How to Use Slice Function | WhatsApp API

The Slice function is a powerful tool in the WhatsApp API that allows you to extract specific parts of a text string based on position. Here's how to use it effectively:
Open Automation Builder:
Start by opening your WhatsApp API automation builder.
Add Text Formatter:
Search for "Text Formatter" in the automation builder.
Select the "Slice" function from the list of available text formatting options.
Create New Authentication:
Click on "Create new authentication."
Enter a label for your authentication.
Add your API key to authenticate the process.
Select Text to Slice:
Choose the text string you want to slice.
Input the text in the appropriate field.
Specify Slice Parameters:
Start Index: Enter the starting position of the text you want to extract. The index is zero-based, meaning the first character is at position 0.
End Index: Enter the ending position (exclusive) of the text slice. The character in this position will not be included.
Apply Slice Function:
The Slice function will then extract the specified portion of the text based on your start and end indices.
The extracted text will be returned and can be used in subsequent steps of your automation.
Save and Test:
