Setting up controls for each plane you use seems like it's going to very time consuming and how are they saved? In the cloud?

Did you use keyboard and mouse only in this video? I want to know because I have no joystick :)

@@someone9822 No, I use the Airbus throttle and joystick from Thrustmaster, aswell as the rudder pedals

@@someone9822 At least a joystick would be way more immersive in a flight sim! The trustmaster one has a slider u can use as throttle if you dont want a seperate throttle

A cautionary tale for current and prospective Meta Quest VR headset owners (for MSFS 2020/24):
I'm on day 7 of Meta holding my Quest headsets hostage. I've been using Oculus/Quest devices from the day they started making them (10 years ago?), and have not been required to give my date of birth to Meta in all this time. But they recently demanded my DOB under threat of disabling my Quests, and they made good on that threat 7 days ago. Meta can metaphorically brick your headsets, any time they want, and for any reason they want, and you will have no defense against it.
Conclusion: Think carfefully before you BUY anything from Meta. The thing you BUY will not be yours.

    What are your overall impressions?

      Most noticeable changes/impressions for me:
      - loading into the game and into a flight is way faster, the transition of loading into the flight is very nice too
      - clouds/storm, night time look better + turbulence feels better, more realistic (gonna be in part 2) - when i played around with the weather the cessna just yeeted away when there's a lot of wind haha
      - controls menu is a bit of a downgrade? Its good there are controls per plane now but like, it doesn't translate it well into the UI
      - the career mode is a very welcome addition, but could be more detailed (gonna be in part 3 i believe)
