    Has that colonial mansion feel to it, and the fact that it is naturally ventilated that reduces utility bills. Very well designed.

    Haha, I love the comments too, very Sporean for sure: waterfront longkang drain, free getai show noise, super haze house, no child safety, pigeons bats crows birdhouse, cockroach and insects, gigantic dust trap...

    • @joenjudywhoknows2396
      @joenjudywhoknows2396 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @hindenbruh to me, there is a kampung feel, my on interpretation. If you don't feel the same, that's up to you.

    • @pardontube
      @pardontube 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      joeNjudy is right, the main design theme is based on tropical natural air circulation and ventilation, and uses ideas from South-East Asian indigenous houses, like our old kampung houses (raised stilt-houses with natural air flow below the floor, set-backs and verandahs; which our old black & white colonial bungalows also borrow the ideas from to keep cool in the old days before aircon). The "architects" in the above video would have studied this in their first year Archi 101 class...

    Mixed feelings. On the one hand it's a little bit pretentious and impractical, and a really poor use of money (investment-wise). But if they can afford it and don't come to regret it later on, then whatever lor. Good idea to go with natural ventilation, and it's nicer than aircon, but hope they have a plan for haze season and when they have kids.
