I love that they cast Eric Idle (from Monty Python And The Holy Grail) as Merlin the wizard. And the prolonged death bit is a semi-nod to Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi [in my mind] (the scene where Yoda dies while talking to Luke)
I'm 43, and not sure if there's been a good King Arthur movie made in my life. Obviously there was one in 1976. Wait, you did Prince of Thieves, but not Men in Tights?
And considering I am a movie afficianado, please also watch the Japanese Anime film 'Akira' from 1988. A film that was an inspiration to James Cameron. And if you really want to watch an emotional film that will make you cry, just as it made me cry, then please please please please (x10) watch 'AI' by Spielberg. It became one of the best, most saddest and emotionally engaging films I ever saw.😢
Charming might still be alive, he went through the window. Also in one of the short Shrek movies we see Prince Charming alive in the cinema eating popcorn.
This is a somewhat enjoyable movie for me, but it is my least favorite of the series. I barely remember all that happens, and I have to go to work now, so... I much prefer the others, and I will catch up with this when I get home.
I never saw this one, I only saw the first 2 movies. I’m not a fan of Shrek, I think it’s very overrated in opinion. I was 14 when the first movie came out and even at that age I thought the hype over it was suffocating
This is the weakest one of the series IMO but still worth watching. The next movie is Shrek Ever After and it's a good one with an interesting twist in Shrek's world.
@@ronweber1402 I’m actually not a fan of Shrek… I think it’s overrated as hell! I saw the first 2 movies but not the 3rd or 4th one. I was 14 when the first movie came out in 2001 and even at that age I thought the hype over it was suffocating
Loved the reaction since there is a lot of King Arthur movies if there is Arthur from 2014 or Merlin from 1998 for TV shows there is BBC’s Merlin my personal favourite is the TV shows there are of cause others to pick from.
Hook is a great Peter Pan adaptation. Not the real PP story, but a great movie. The original Disney Peter Pan is very good. Plenty of King Arthur movies. Excalibur & King Arthur (2004) are really good modern films. Monte Python and the Holy Grail is a fun (very silly) KA spoof film and a must watch. A true classic. Best animated movie franchise? I'd go w/ How to Train Your Dragon as one of the best. Megamind is highly underrated.
One Movie I recommend you react to is Big Fat Liar (2002) it’s a hilarious movie, but also teaches us a valuable lesson, “The Truth is not over rated”. Greetings from Alberta🇨🇦
Hi Miss Verowak, great to see your lovely smiling face!😊 This one does kind of seem like a stand alone film almost, but very enjoyable to watch! Great reactions to your 3rd Shrek film, Miss Verowak!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
If the first two Shrek movies hadn’t been amazing, this one might have been all right. It would still be pretty bad, but maybe not as unforgivably bad.
Well, there is one underrated movie called "Merlin". It does have King Arthur in it. From 1998 with Sam Neil, Martin Short, Helena Bonham Carter, and Rutger Hauer. I believe someone under the channel name "Owen Davies" uploaded it to TH-cam in two parts (it's 3 hours total as it aired on local tv in two two-hour slots).
@@VerowakReacts It was a Hallmark mini-series epic television event on NBC in the 90s. They also did The Odyssey and Gulliver's Travels. All of them have incredible casts. ♥

Great, i missed it, but , on the bright side, i finally got to watch a Shrek film wiyh you ( and ,coincidentally, this was the only Shrek movie i got to watch in theatres) Thanks, Vero!

Eddie Murphy is indispensable as Donkey.
Thank you, Verowak! 🟩 Chris Miller (not to be confused with Christopher Miller) and Raman Hui directed this installment.
Hi, Here is a film you will enjoy. Spirited Away the English version. Would be great to see your review of this
Watch "The Iron Giant" you will not be disappointed!
Awesome reaction of my favorite Shrek movie and it reminds me of Spider-Man 3!!!!😊😊😊😊
Thank you, it was a really fun movie!! Shrek movies are always good
Probably "Up"(2009) and the "Toy Story" films are some of my favorite animated films.😉
They are on the list already!! 🤩
@@VerowakReacts Up will make you cry within the first half hour
For me it's the Shrek and Toy Story franchises
Please make more animation movie reacts, these are my favorite.
Shrek is hilarious! If you have COPD as I do you it is wise to have a rescue inhaler by your side. It is fun to watch it on a Sunday with the family.
It’s overrated
Shrek really is great for the whole family!
Shrek's the best
I'm 43, and not sure if there's been a good King Arthur movie made in my life. Obviously there was one in 1976.

Men in tights is soon! Lol

AI is one that I've wanted to see when I was younger but never did
With pushing the castle piece onto Charming, Dragon has killed 2/4 Shrek villains. Lmao She's savage.
Go Dragon!!! Next one will be death from fire breath lol
Charming might still be alive, he went through the window. Also in one of the short Shrek movies we see Prince Charming alive in the cinema eating popcorn.

It definitely seems like the weakest one so far, for me

Yes, most 3rd movies of franchises are the weakest ones. It was the samething with American Pie… the 3rd movie was the weakest out of all 4 movies
@@nsasupporter7557 Except for Indiana Jones whose third outing is arguably the best of them all.

After you watch Disney's 1953 Peter Pan, watch Hook (1991). Great story and Robin Williams is just a delight.

Donkey/ass joke was 11/10 Vero. This movie is the definition of fun. Never knew I needed a mixed breed litter of donkeys/dragons in my life.
👍
I don't think this is the best Shrek; tried to hit too many targets. But it's still a fun watch!
Completely agree, not the best but still fun!!
@@VerowakReacts are you gonna watch the 4th movie as well
not the worst movie though
Also, Merlin (1998) with Sam Neill is a good watch.

do you generally like Shrek?
I would say if you were a mom LOL you would have to deal with all that and changing lots of diapers
Seems like you didn’t really care for Shrek’s nightmare scene. I tell by your face you don’t like puke
not a bad movie just not as good as the first two great reaction
Shrek is very overrated. I was 14 when the first movie came out and even at that age I thought the hype over it was suffocating
Definitely not as good as the first two, it's hard to have great movies for an entire franchise
