I love Triple Tap in perk 1 for pvp, it is different than in pve, instead of procking after three head shots it consistently procks after one and sometimes it even refunds two shots, besides, it refunds them directly to the magazine, definitely a good pvp perk imo :)
In the april update, they didn't mention in the patch notes, but you can no longer stack quickdraw on blade dancer and snapshot on snipers, and quickdraw has a slightly longer ADS zoom speed than snapshot, but it is hard to tell.

It actually does on certain guns but not snipers, rockets or Fusion shots. Shoot a Phalanx near his pistol hand but not on it with an AR or HC and somehow you'll hit him without actually being super accurate.
+HanMorse could be I think sage Merrill and John weisnewski explained how aim assist works with bullets in an old Crucible radio podcast and they described as something similar to curving bullets but using an auto rifle not sure which bullets have the ability to besides auto rifles tho
Dude, life support is easily one of the 3 best perks for perk 1. Let's say you have a 1v1 with another sniper, he gets his shot out first and body shots you and then you headshot him, you'll almost always get full health back. It saved my ass so many times, it is just great.

I use a longbow with ambush, last resort, snapshot, and outlaw. I prefer not having a lot of aim assist on it, it just feels a lot smoother. But it's my opinion I play as a pretty aggressive blade dancer. But I understand why other people would prefer the other 2 scopes and more aim assist.

I got a longbow with Shortgaze, partial refund, quickdraw/rifled barrel, and firefly as well as a her fury with Longview slr10, Grenadier, perfect balance, and hidden hand.
Nice. I have three snipers, the 1000-yard, longbow, and LDR all with Void damage and Firefly. Scope and perks (not including Firefly since all three have it): 1000-Yard: Longview SLH10, Last Resort, Skip Rounds, Rifled Barrel, or Mutiny. Longbow: Ambush SLH25, Partial Refund, Speed Reload, Hand-Laid Stock, or Smallbore (which doesn't affect Magazine Size, surprisingly). LDR: TACSYS SLS15 (For extra Stability), Guerilla Fighter, Explosive Rounds, Rifled Barrel, or Oiled Frame.
As much as these rolled snipers are good, I always seem to go back to the Defiance of Yasmin. It feels so quick, basically has hidden hand built in, and has an incredible scope that doesn't take up much screen room
+Aidan ryan nah dude the data base doesn't matter about what I said. It has a scope that takes up nearly no screen room (not in the data base), it feels quick (subjective feel not in the database. That's 66% that is opinion... I can't be mostly wrong. Also it has incredible aim assist
nkuch, Longview slr10 not the 20 is considered a top 3 scope.the Longview slr10 has 5.2x zoom (shortgaze and ambush are 4.9) and plus 3 aim assist..also hidden hand doesn't add 15 to the aim assist number, it adds 15 percent.

If anyone cares, for a PvE sniper you'll want a short range scope and Triple Tap. Triple Tap, Casket Mag, and Spray and Play would be a godly roll. TT and CM will give you a 7 round magazine if you hit your shots and SnP will speed up your reload to fire more shots.

Two slight corrections required- slr10 is the short scope and hidden hand adds 15% of the aim assist you have
my personal favourite on a sniper is unflinching, it saved my ass off in so many situations and 1v3's

Idk where you found the aim assist values for the scopes, but ambush is -10, shortgaze is +10-15, and Longview is +20

What I like about firefly is that if you body shot one guy and then headshot another guy next to him, the explosion will kill both of them:)
