I think wrestling is exciting! I just think certain wrestlers are boring.
Furthermore, I don't follow UFC as much as I once did and I have already heard about Mokaev's problems; and while Khabib, McGregor, etc. had their problems - they were also really big draws. Conversely, all I have ever heard about Mokaev is his behavior, no one is talking about how good he is.
I think that's why they cut him: primadonna with not enough popularity to make it worth dealing with him. Even Ray Sefo - from PFL - already publicly passed on him.
