The original Dorma was great for Salto (minimal lever swing to pull latch fully) also a rounded latch great for Electric Strikes. Most manufacturers now leave a small flat surface just sticking out of the faceplate and if the gap is tight for an electric strike it can often bind. ( very frustrating) Ross have thought about both things for Salto and Electric Strikes and they work.
