I was having a bit of trouble finding a comfortable position for the higher positions, this helped me out so much and I feel more confident in it than ever!
I just wanted to say thanks for your lessonettes; they help me in my studies greatly. You touch on details that other classical guitar players do not. These details help greatly and make practice time more fruitful. Thanks again and take care. William
This is exactly the info I needed. I want to get a seagull s6 but it doesn't have a cutaway and I was worried about not being able to go past the 12th fret and I need to get at least to 15. Thank you
Thanks a lot for the information, never thought I would find an answer so quickly XD. I will add this knowledge while I play the guitar, honestly tysm!
I’ve wondered about this for awhile. I’ve been learning Gnossienne which I’m doing pretty good with except when I get to the passage that goes to the high notes. I now believe this video lesson will help me continue to master this amazing piece of music.
I have a cutaway . Was looking for tips for 15 fret upwards to 20 and this confirmed I am using the right approach. My thumb has to come off at some stage but I changed the posture I have to do it . Helpful video .👍
Never thought to use my palm as a stabilizer for continued point if reference higher up the neck. Much more accurate than the hand lifting I've been doing. Thanks.
I appreciate your time spent with these lessonettes. If I may make a request... On tremolo, please. I love ❤ your interpretation of Barrios' Un Sueño El Floresta. I'm just a beginner. Aloha 🙋 from Hawaii!
Bent Nails that’s a D'Addario tuner, the little one they have. I just attached it in the middle there because my guitar has an indented headstock design and the tuner isn’t stable at the top. Also it’s less visible in the middle than the top.
I like how your lessons are packed with information for even the smallest details. Thank you very much. They are really helpful.
This is exactly what I was searching for. I appreciate all of the fine details, particularly about thumb placement.

So helpful! Ty :)
Excellent teaching. Maybe not a good question, but when may it be best to just get a cutaway guitar to help reach those frets?

Can anyone help? What is that black thing on the headstock close to the machine head for the D string?

You're amazing
I guess there is no way to play bar chords then, right? I'm new to classical guitar
yes its impossible playing bar chords above 12th fret
Nice lesson as I prefer not to use a cut away guitar you look nice in that peach color shirt
