I have this exact truck and the problem is you can not access the list of your now playing favorites ? My old radio in my 2018 Charger could do this. Also when a favorite song comes on you have all of 2 seconds to see the drop down and touch it before it disappears into oblivion. So much for progress, unless you know something I don’t know about how to access this list it seems like we took a step backwards in my opinion.
Other than the top and bottom cards, this video didn't show a single feature not available on the 8.4 display. Would have been nice too see how the navigation, media, and climate cards work together while operating the pickup.

@@rebecahanrahan5556 I am using Siri I have to hold the speech button top left , left side of steering wheel for a few seconds till Siri shows up in an icon on the main screen then just give a command. My 12' screen works intermittently has to be replaced , ridiculous in an 80K truck with 2K miles

Yes, but you have to buy an aftermarket kit to do that. Car manufacturers get sued for car crashes with people watching movies so they don't offer it direct

Hello, I know this is old. Do you know when dodge is going to fix the issue with the wrong speed limits being displayed at such a high rate? My area is new and its NEVER been 30 mph. its 20. this is apparently an issue many other users have. any information. please assist. Thank you.
This is not a Dodge issue. RAM gets their map layout from the American Map Association, just like all other car makers. The maps are not updated with speed limits all the time so that's why they might be wrong sometimes.
@@kimojon9665 it's an issue if they are selling the vehicle from a company that does not update the maps! It makes the vehicle Navigation pretty much a useless add on that we as the customer pay for. This is a premium vehicle! No reason to skimp on processes that will keep the system relevant. KIAs App is on point and, even has a better voice! Seriously!? If dodge could get the company that Kia has for the navigation, this would not even be a topic. Before I get the guys that say "well, buy a Kia!" I did! Not for the navigation. It's a comparison to the 2 navigation systems.
I have questions. So when I first test drive it at the dealer my back up camera was full screen..and then when I was going through things days later my camera is half a screen with my controls on display .... is there anyway to fix that...I was going to ask when I head in for oil change
Same problem here.no one Had the windshield replaced and lost the full screen back-up camera. Local dealer said it was due to an update but no one has admitted to performing an update. Still looking. Any answers? Thanks
@@leverfanful I went in for two oil changes by now and the time waiting and rushing out I forgot to ask im definitely gonna try to figure out cause I so forgot that my backup camera was full screen im just use to it being with my controls on display like why when im in reverse is it a good time to pick where I went my ac flow at my feet or to my face..dosent make sense
my systems keeps shutting down and rebooting....over and over!! It does not stay on....truck is just under 1 yr old....2019 3500 Longhorn with 12" screen. Please help
Take that to dealer or unplug your battery overnight, then connect battery and allow about 3 hours for all to come back. If that does not work take it to the dealer and you have a warranty
I have a 2020 1500 longhorn Laramie with a 12 inch screen Do not buy that 12 inch screen is garbage when that radio go down on you your whole vehicles out I’ve been out of my vehicle for over three week I have only 11,000 miles on my vehicle I haven’t got it back yet
@@waterbuddy92 My GPS wasn’t working I took it to the dealer it took them two months to get the radio back in otherwise you can use your truck It keeps drain your battery and if you wanna drive your truck your truck will not shift to a second gear and when I got my radio wasn’t the right radio I have to go back and wait three weeks to get the right radio My whole screen was gone when the GPS went out

But the big display looks worlds better than the 8.4 in every way. RAM didn't want to limit the little cheap screen.
