The beat down they gave Notre Dame last year is going to be in Marcus Freeman’s head. And the beat down the cards gave to Riley. Leonard is going to be in his head. Cards 34, Irish 17.
Irish Media in general makes some of their hay by being more optimistic than less, although they understandably have more pause than many echoespheres. Everyone is calling this close both in the echoesphere and out of it, and to me its a toss up. Both teams have stars, but ND has a few more, which isn't a lot, but in small groups a few can be significant. I hope for a win, but a loss would not surprise me. Go Irish~!
@@irishbreakdown Perhaps, however accurate it proved to be. The game was decided by a very thin, tenuous thread of the, by then, threadbare defense. It was that, by which we barely evaded a likely doomed overtime effort that we appeared not ready to confront. Any of the various chaotic events of the game, decided on the edge of a butterfly's wing, in an alternate ratio, would have altered the outcome on Saturday. If I had to think back 'toss-up' would come to mind, and I think that is the most accurate perception of that war. Irish media specifically, reductio ad absurdum has to appeal to its likely fanbase (which, unfortunately, also includes me) but touting all the talent that isn't already sitting injured on the sideline, or in the portal, has generally not translated into the dominating, easy-feeling confident wins where this is predicted, or even the conservatively close, but definitely wins otherwise - by the echoesphere. You may not care for my critique of the media, or the fact that not being confident in victory has been proven to be a useful perception of potential outcomes. You may or may not be able to claim superior or specialized knowledge, but have no problem critiquing the fanbase with or without surety of that same advantage. Therefor allow me to say just that it is unlikely anyone is going to anxiously tune in to their favorite talking heads to hear them say "dunno who's going to win" since that admission would be an automatic conviction of that media on 'knowledge' - without even a trial, in this case, apparently a trial by combat on Saturday. Denegrating my admission to misgivings (if that is to what you refer) also seems a bit unfair. I flew into Indianapolis from the desert (because of course flights to SB were out of seats), drove the two plus hours to ND, and slept in Mishawaka in a 4 bdrm house because that is what I could get, and then drove the 3 hours back to Indy to fly out. I was there, screamed at the officials, the DJ, and LVille fan chants. Sometimes in the rain. Did you? ~Dim '91,'92
@@Dimwitland This is a ridiculous response and totally ignores how the game played out. You want to be negative, fail to enjoy a great win and ignore what your eyes told you go for it, but keep that nonsense off my channel. I'm so sick and tired of all you negative people who try and suck the joy out of life for everyone else.
@@irishbreakdown Wish granted. I am rather an agreeable person if you don't use denegrative language like ridiculous, sad attitude and nonsense when talking about others' opinions, as opinion is the most common thing we have to trade in here. I certainly did not use insulting language when talking about yours, as I may not agree with you, but do respect your opinion, even if you do not respect mine.
Gee, Ryan, maybe ND will take what Louisville gives them and, in your mind, that would be so wrong. Of course, any coach would do that, but when Freeman does it, it is a tragedy...at least that is what you said and wrote.
Greetings guys from Southern California and listening later the show. It was good. I appreciated.

Well, that didn't age well for you!

What a sad attitude to have!

What did you all predict last year when ND got beatdown in Louisville
I wish this was a night game. Thats when we have a crowd pulse. However I have ND winning 31-21. Xaviar Watts gets a pick 6

24-17 ND
Running game and defense usually wins in college football
RL is a terrific runner not an accurate passer
