59:10 Educative guess-When K_1 tends to infinity, junction temp. must be T_1 so its either (a) or (d), then when l_1=0 it should again be T_1 which only (d) satisfies.
59:34 sir in this question i have related a center of mass concept . lets consider tempreture at junction to be center of mass, t1 and t2 as the distances and k1l1 and k2l2 as the masses. so as com = mass * distance by total mass so just apply it about junction, m1x1+m2x2/m1+m2......equation1 m1=k1l1..........equation2 x1=t1.........equation3 putting values k1l1t1+k2l2t2/k1l1+k2l2 even this concept can be applied to three rods connecting and four to infinite
13:13 Ans (d) because first heat reaches the glass and it expands so level drops. Then the heat reaches Hg it expands faster than glass and level rises above 30. After some time at equilibrium it comes back to 30.
Sir in 5:01 why is it wrong to think directly as (delta)Vo=delta(Vm) as intuitively expansions are same instead of complicatedly thinking Vvessel-Vmercury logic?

In such calorimetry JEE Problems , we assume entire system and constituents are perfect heat CONDUCTORS , so water won't evaporate separately as ice is interacting
Sir..educative guess... : if k2=0 then resistance is infinte then current will not flow only... So temp difference won't be there between T1 and junction.. So only A D are left.. And even by equating current k2 is associated with L1 clearly so option D

Sir first the glass absorbs heat and expands as it is a poor conductor the amount of heat that the liquid absorbs is very less so the expansion of liquid is less as compared to the glass so the liquid level falls initially
