Not a fair exhaust test. Baffle was still in the Fake Akra which you did the sound check with it in. Take it out then redo the sound check. But even with the fake akra baffle in it was as loud as the real akra with it out

A fake one its too direct i put one on my Yamaha FZ07 without DBKiller and it was loud as hell It took me 2 days to put the db killer and the sound changes completely still loud but much less and less cracking and backfiring with out db killer and muffler the fake ones are way to straight and noisy.
Had this replicas in two different quads, believe me above 5000 rpm you loose horspower against the stock ones (without baffle ofc), it's even noticeable if you're stopped and hit the gas, you get the limiter slower.
Of course the real one is beautiful. But very expensive. I have a fake Akra on my 50cc scooter and when I remove the dB-killer its just a motor sound. Even with pops&bangs and shoot flames :) Nice video, big like!

The only reason the fake one sounds farty is because of the db killer, remove it and they should sound very similar. In general muffler change is not going to make a big difference in sound, the only thing that changes sound drastically is de-catting and header changes.
Bikes from the factory typically run lean and putting a free flowing exhaust or air filter never helps the situation (unless you have the money to tune correctly).The real akra is longer and therefore maintains more back pressure than the fakeovic without the db killer. Leave the db killer in the fakeovic and After a week/500 miles the glass pack will break in giving you a little more sound and pop. I put one on my ninja 300, the reason ( light weight ) the fear ( destroying my motor from running lean / getting hot). The fakeovic is just a slip on and with the db killer in it to help maintain back pressure ,it still Sounds quite decent. So far hasn't ran hot and performance feels same. Not a bad purchase. Side note. I think I'm gonna buy a re-packing kit from fmf or another reputable company and replace the China glass pack.

A real Akra has been through lots of R+D everything is the way it is for a reason. size/ shape.size and shape in diffrent areas.Qaulity of materials used. a cheap china replica has not!!! and is the cheapest of materials. the real akra is in neutral very nice but when it comes to riding .. there are no noteable differences.. so for that exha. 20$ is very nice. and you didnt put the DB killer out of the fake akra..
You need that in there for back pressure. That's why it's popping under engine breaking. If you want it to work without the baffle then you need different cam profiles because at the moment the valve overlap is all fucked up.
Yeah, they sound a little different but that is expected since the fake is way smaller if you would get a proper sized fake then it would put the real akropovic to shame

second, with no kind of copy laws in China, they get hold of the original, and copy them very closely... sometimes making it exactly the same and or even better. I like the fake one better.....sound better too
But it doesn't sound 37.5x better (750/20). It does definitely sound better but i would say about maybe 1.7x better? If the akra is healthier for the ktm i don't know but yea. I'd go for value.
Fake mufflers are actually not bad for the price but they dont always come fully sealed and there is often tiny gaps at the seams where exhaust gases can leak out but it is very easy to seal the gaps with copper-based silicone or maybe even JB weld. For the price you cant expect it to be perfect. Its really just a piece of pipe and if the average diameter and total length of exhaust piping including the muffler are both the same then the only difference between fake and real is that the real one will last much much longer without any leaks. Aftermarket mufflers are typically very simple in construction which is why you can get away with using fake. When buying Chinese shit, if its a simple design without too much mechanical complexity or strict tolerances its usually ok, so you can safely run a Chinese muffler, meanwhile actual Chinese engines are notoriously shit. It's all about spending ur money where it counts and saving money where you can safely get away with it. Within reason of course
the china akra isnt bad for the price... its well made but its to small for a 450cc bike, the volume in the chamber is to small you need at least 4185 milliliter volume in the exhaust system
i have the 51cm fake and its great....or it was for a week. it now leaks exhaust gas around the back rivets and rattles a lot! but it's quality meterial and it probably can be rebuilt a few times before becoming useless
