Thank you for this amazing video! I would be interested in some further information about the different types of hdpe you show at @01:45. What happens when you mix hdpe from bottle caps and let’s say a detergent canister?
Thanks for message 👍 when you mix and melt different HDPE types it will stick together. But it will be difficult to make products with the same properties and apperance. I would say, that separation is more important for injection moulding. When plastic does not have good flow properties, its required to apply more force.
@@plastmakers ok I see! Would you consider it problematic creating a simple sheet from different hdpe types? The only requirement would be that it looks good. It doesn’t have to be very stable 😅
Thanks Thomas this video is great and very helpful! My sister and I are just starting out and we were thinking of mixing Hdpe plastics so it’s good to know this is a bad idea. We are in the process of buying a machine (injection machine like the one you bolted to the wooden pallet). Do you think this will be too hard for 2 girls to do? It looks like it takes strength? Can you recommend and injection machine, shredder or small compression machine?
@@becanadevencorn3876 Hello, thank you for message 🖤 Firstly, its good to hear that you want to start ♻️ Precious Plastic machines are good for beginners and small workspaces. If you want to build machines by yourself there are usefull Starterpacks on Precious Plastic website. If you want to buy ready to use solution, visit Precious Plastic Bazar there are sellers from different countries😉 Its good to read sellers review. And one more advice for you, make a simple cost estimation. For example when you buy injection moulding machine or compression moulding machine, you also need moulds which will cost some money. I am sure girls can handle plastic recycling activities. Example when I jumped on lever is really extreme. 😅 Usually its easy. If you need more answers, send me email: info@plastmakers.com or for faster response Instagram
Thanks very much for the video.. I’m a young entrepreneur and architect from Africa. Precisely Cameroon 🇨🇲... I’m starting up a company on waste management, mostly plastic waste... you could be of great help if you don’t mind... we can talk more

@@zodd0001 on Precious Plastic website you can find also hand powered shredders. I know that Plastic Preneur sell a small hand powered shredder. But I would say that performance will be very small.
Thank you for sharing what you learned. I should share more about my lessons too. Even if only a few people see it, Its still very useful.
Very helpful, thanks for sharing!
Hi am kenedy from Cameroon am interested in plastic recycling. Am presently going through research to start recycling
Nice video ! Thanks for your all right feedbacks :)
Great video!! 👌🔥♻️✌️

@@larsfischer2253 compression moulding is foolproof technology 😅 it should not be problem 👍

I am precious plastic member. Have you also manual shredder ?
Hey 👋 I have a shredder equiped with motor
@@plastmakers I am still a beginner, so I would like to start with something electricity free. I have not so large amount of plastic to work yet

Great info. But aren’t we all mostly novice plastic recyclers? There are some older precious plastic people, but not much.
