Curious. Why would you not just export data directly to Data Studio? I know excel and google sheets are popular but I have never used either. Does sheets have benefits over GDS?

Great question: to be honest, I've used both the Data Studio and Google Sheets versions of Supermetrics. I find they have different uses so I decide which I want based on the account. For dashboards, obviously DS is best. But for account management and more in-depth reporting, I find Google Sheets to be a bit more customizable even if it requires more formula building to get what I need. No right or wrong option, just depends what you need. Thanks!

@@PaidMediaPros We use both the Google Sheets and Data Studio connectors and agree entirely that both are useful
There are example of Metrics (not Google Ads unless you are looking at Quality Score which you can get into sheets with a Script) for example Instagram Profile followers or Twiter user data like Followers and Tweets that is only available as a Snap shot. Using the append new to old you can take that snap shot regulalry and see trends over time.
There are also things like concatenation, look ups and anything that uses App Scripts or other Sheets formulas (there are so many) that while you can acheive in Data Studio through Blending and calculated fields using things like Case When - but its sometimes much easier to manage this is google sheet (CASE WHEN is awesome, but if it is something that changes regulalrly and you have lots of variations suddenly takes lots of time to manage and a Google sheet formula could be updated in minutes).
There are also more limitations to the number of accounts you can have on a licence on Data Studio - either 20 or 100 accounts is the off the shelf option (you can add more but you will pay more). If you have for example a report based on 120 Facebook pages for Local stores. that is going to cost you extra on Data Studio... but can be acheived in Google Sheets with no extra cost.

Great video. In regards to the Uploader, I wasn't able to find anywhere what the updated environment looks like in Google Analytics. Would it be possible to see what that looks like?

Hi Michael, can you clarify for me? Are you trying to see where to upload spend in Google Analytics or what an updated GA report would look like after spend is updated?

@@PaidMediaPros I was hoping to see what the new GA report would look like. Obviously it is super convenient to see everything together. Also curious how you deal with adding these other campaigns into GA in regards to attribution as well.

You can get the same data for free with the google ads add on on google sheets no?

Hi Yuda, you likely can get that data through a free integration, but that would only work for Google data. If you want to incorporate Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft, etc., you'll likely need a 3rd party tool like Supermetrics.

Hi Lenny, there are a few different pricing options you can check out on their site. It all depends on which product you choose! bit.ly/supermetrics-pmp

Paid Media Pros can see that but more curious on how your bill goes up as you use it in more clients.
