"most of them are still there"... true and untrue. In Italy nowadays you'll see a 500 sometimes on the road, driven by an enthusiast but not as an everyday car. The 500 who have been restored or preserved are in garages, and taken out for special occasions or rallies.
@@PetrosLAN well here in the Uk they are really easy to get parts and boast panels, I use motobambino.com They might shop abroad but no doubt in Italy there must be plenty of suppliers.
Hi, well I live in a quiet village and it’s perfect for that, if I got hit at 40mph by a normal car I doubt I’ll walk away with out a scratch but we can’t live our lives in a risk adverse bubble so I’d suggest buy one, enjoy it and be sensible. It will bring you joy!
@@rockin86ranger hey, I’ve been wanting hear the opinion of someone who daily’s one of these- I want to buy a car to own for the rest of my life (I hate the that modern cars are kind of disposable)…. if I take the $ I’d spend on a modern new car ($30,000-ish) and focus it into a classic 500 with reliability (and rustproofing) in mind, is there any reason one of these wouldn’t be a fantastic daily driver in a small city?
That’s a fair point, I bought this 5 years ago for 7k and it’s definitely gone up in value in the Uk, I do feel that some are asking too much, they are only worth what people are prepared to pay.however there are still plenty of fiats that need some tlc out there and the parts are easy and cheap to get which in my opinion makes it a good vehicle to invest in.
Your video put such a HUGE smile on my face ! 🇮🇹
Amazing review, love the enthusiasm!

I’m thinking to find one and restore it here in Greece. Are the parts easy to find?

Aww, the classic Fiat 500 is so nice and cute! I got myself a Fiat Cinquecento, technically the same line, but the design is completely different :D
Definately is!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a fun video!
In red 🔥🔥🔥😎
I'm interested in buying a 1969 Fiat 500 L and I was wondering if it is safe to drive or is it to risky. Thank you

Nothing is safe to drive period. Srs systems are only qualified for 45 mph anyways.
Okay my question is how tall are you for to fit in classic FIAT 500 ?
Hi, well I'm 5'10 and fit a treat, 6 foot plus maybe struggling?
@@wright-adventure 6.2 acsually
anyways keep it up i love it !
I’m 6’ 3” and use my 69 fiat 500 as a daily when the weather is decent.
@@rockin86ranger i wanna say i sow real classic fiat 500 i drovr it holy shit , IT FITS ME :)

500 like that now is worth like 30k euros ? :D very cute version with lots of original upgrade here
Well that would be nice if it’s gone up that much, but I love it too much to sell. Thanks for watching.
I'll never embarrass my FIAT 500 R by putting one of these silly baskets on its back! Get rid of it, please!
Oh? I think it looks good, guess it’s subjective.
@@wright-adventure It looks OK, but I think something that's more weather resistant would be better functionally.
pretty sure i seen this for sale asking 25k
Blimey! Hope not as it’s in my garage. Pretty sure I’d only get 10k for it now.
@@wright-adventure most of them are averaging around 20 some like the one that looks like yours is much higher
Hardly a budget classic with the prices being asked for these in some countries.
