Jonathan Young is amazing. I discovered him years ago when I had a killer fever and I couldnt sleep. His disney covers saved me that night.
Violet is calling back to lots in the actual video. Loving the harmonies in this version.
They did Dance Macabre on his channel. They are great together, almost as good as her and Leo.

We have let ourselves become used to female singers who, if they really can sing, are sopranos, and male singers who are tenors, so here comes along Violet, an alto, and Johnathon, a baritone. The naturally lower ranges just really adds power to a song like this. The fact that she’s bewitchingly glamorous and he’s…’dad’ just makes it that much more fun.
YES! I've always loved a female vocalist with a natural lower opera type range because of the power and emotion you feel from it. My dark sense of humor aligns nicely with what Violet has to offer. I hope she does a lot more work with Jonathan because they make an amazing team. Also loved the Muse covers she did with F211 and Halocene.
There voices are perfect together. And if there was ever a devil I'd sell my soul to I'd give her a discount.
Jonathon and Lauren Babic did a cover to The Offspring "You're gonna go far kid" together and it is truly amazing you should really check it out.

Ghost is such an under rated band. Their songs a quite catchy. I love that both Violet and Johnathan did a couple Ghost songs

i found out about Violet when she collaborated with Anthony Vincent to do
"A Little Piece of Heaven by A7X in 33 Styles" and again to do the Cover with the winning style, you need to check out Anthony Vincent, he is OUTSTANDING and i'm just waiting for him to do something with Leo.
Can tell you this, almost nobody knows who she is here in Brasil, really. I've find her in youtube through one of the collaborations with Halocene.
Most Brazilians hate this style of music, because here, what is successful is Pagode, samba, axé and sertanejo.
We who like this style of music she makes, we are increasingly scarce.
Well that is Brazil's loss and the WORLDS GAIN!!!

I would honestly love to see a tour come out of it. Find a venue where you can have a full day event, with everyone having sets and have collabs between. Best would be a place where people could go for a weekend or something, to make it a mini vacation instead of just a concert. I'd pay to travel some where if I could turn it into a vacation as well.

Great vid, but really think you should lower the sensitivity of your noise gate, it’s really distracting at least with headphones on, it sounds like the video pauses when you stop speaking sometimes haha

I hear elements of Peter Steele (Type O Negative) in Jonathan Young's voice. I'm not saying he sounds exactly like Peter, but he has certain vocal qualities that are similar.

I want to see your reaction to Violets collaboration with Anthony. They covered some songs, pick which one stands out to you. They did very good job!
I really believe Violett should already start a gothic band with her original material - she does great covers but I think she will also do great originals in collaboration with other musicians in her own group. What I try to say is that i feel like for Leo - his covers are an extension of his art and for Violett her covers seems a bit like a limitation of her potential. Not sure if I am right - just IMHO - but this is the feeling i get watching your reactions on her channel.
Jonathan Young's voice sounds a lot like Peter Steele from Type O Negative. RIP Peter.
Jonathan young is great. He is dark but he suppose to be dark since he's a dark prince and Caleb Hyles is the light prince. If you see their collab on the greatest show man cover. You'll see what I mean.

This cover is weird and gross.
Ghost is horrible, bland, and generic. These two have made it listenable.
Someone referred to them as "goth ABBA". I thought that was fairly accurate.
