Actually he’s the first Indian music director to use synthesiser and he relies a lot on synthesisers for music composition just as much as acoustic instruments in his compositions
This is the difference between Malayalam and Tamil channels. Our Tamil channels can't even perceive these type of interviews. Good to see how eagerly Ilayaraja is explaining his domain nuances. This is how programs should be, when we are dealing with geniuses like him.
He is a portable music University. I am very proud of being his fan and contemporary. I touch his feet, and shed tear of joy.

When there was no technology as now MSV SIR, KVM SIR and raja sir made miracles in music . Gather that raja sir composed 7 songs for a movie in just 2/3 hours and that film was a block buster. Now ARR said that it took years to compose songs for PS. now you can judge knowledge between these people. MSV,KVM AND RAJA created music without computers. This man depend only electronics which produce only noice. ARR exhausted his potential long back. But the above three legend can give a melody for ever. MSV SIR AND KVM SIR, please come back again to give musical treat to us.
Yes very true..that's because Raja depend on the above soul to compose his music..but ARR and other current music director depends on computer and keyboard to create t composition using template....and also like to make quick wealth and own studio and if possible few diets with heroine and additional adds...apart from soulful music ..they indulge in all nonsense...
