No, you can see the range, but not this hill. You need to go inside for about 2-3 Kms

It is not a summit, but just a small hilltop. Hardly 15 mins from the base

I have visited Ramanagara 2 times but never spotted monkeys for even once, so I guess you are safe to carry food. On top you have huge area and you can sit anywhere you want.
