Capitalism is centralisation, concentration and consolidation of capital and wealth. Socialism is decentralisation and distribution of wealth without exploitation of labour.

@@fraooqkhan2293 Iol u did not understand my comment. I described America. And I have been to cuba twice and their socialist side is wonderful. The dictatorial side of cuba has got nothing to do with socialism, you are confusing the two. Taimur is arguing for a democratic socialist system. I have never been to North Korea but I think one would be extremely naive to think that they have any kind of system in place.
@@omarkhan3256 capitalism is better than utopian socialism which works well only of paper , which failed to produce enough food for its people , killed millions through starvation despite murderous efforts to enslave it's own people it failed time and again everywhere, look at china before 1980s and India before 1990s , its inefficient system that created moneyless, classless, freedom less, Foodless and water less society, the only reason u r supporting it is bcz u didn't live in socialist country, the power vacuum it creates leads to dictatorship,we saw it in every socialist country 🤡..its like placing all eggs in one basket and when the basket fails all the eggs will be broken , capitalism on other hand has multiple baskets ,not all eggs r broken , its a self correcting system.Leftist policies can be adopted in capitalist setups but socialism is catastrophic

I am watching from a year, I'm preparing for CSS/PMS, many of the viewers are aspirant. It would be great if you upload a bit CSS syllabus orientated lectures of Political Science and Philosophy. Your teaching methodology and analysis is on current topics helps me alot. @omarkhan3256 So is Dr Taimur ur Rehman, If not ideologically but practically. He himself is a part of Capitalist system(me and you as well)although he is playing his part to inculcate socialist ideas in youths mind , personally my thoughts are more inclined to socialism.
Capitalism is modern slavery of laborers. Socialism is humanity and empathy for laborers.
I'm an ACCA professional(only telling so that people don't think I'm speaking without studying the subject). I respect Taimur Lal sahb and have learned a lot from him. However, as muslims(this needs to be clear from the forefront) we don't believe in Islam as just a religion like any other but a complete way of life that has the solutions to the problems of Humanity as it end with ''An-nas'' ''the mankind'' and that Quran and it's teachings are timeless. Now when this position is clear we can discuss the logical points of it, Islamic Economic system doesn't need to be as much worked upon as these youtubers/ economists tell us to. It just needs to implemented and be adjusted on how the world is changing. Now the reason it's getting so hard to adopt is because people are now used to non-Islamic economic system that is about interest on loans and all these things that benefits the elites of the society. They don't want to implement it so will promote socialism because that will give them a little bit of breathing space while switching from Interest based Capitalism. Problem is(for the elites) if you implement Sharia law right now, it would disqualify all the interest and sone py suhaga they'd be forced to pay Zakat. and 2.5% amongst the poor people from one of these elites who own millions and billions is a alot. This would elevate the poor people and the elites would loose the grasp and control on poor awam. They don't want it. Problem with socialism is that the decision of majority is not necessarily a right decision, for example look at the west how they changed the thinking of their people to legalize LGHDTV+ marriage in their country. They could do the same with the people here by pushing certain narrative on the curriculum and media to make a decision in their favor. And that's why Dictatorship of the right person is extremely necessary which is BTW elected by the majority of the people who put trust in him. But not everyone is technical enough to make certain key decisions because that will also include a lot of in-expert opinions on the subject which could result in a slow and wrong decisions, we need to act fast. So we believe in the timelessness of the Holy Quran and if so, Sharia Law and Islamic Economic system needs to be implemented right at this very moment.
Does an Islamic economic system include legalised slavery as mentioned in the Holy Quran?

It's amazing how people(muslim or non-muslim) would happily give 40% Tax of their Salary in west but have some problem with 2.5% Zakat or 2.5% non-muslim tax(Jizya) which is far far less and well distributed amongst the deserving citizens

If in war enemy make your people slaves then what what would you do and that's why Islam has this option of slavery so that enemy may not damage us in this aspect and we may not be able to respond them. It's should not be very difficult for you to understand.
Actually the issue is that Muslims are not aware of Deen e Islam and mostly people think that like other religions Islam is mere a religion. As to how creator of entire universe Who is controlling each and every thing has not given humanity the system of life.

Wonderful sir, we do need to shift our economic policies in line with the benefit of our Country in particular and for public social well being in general, otherwise our survival as a viable state would irreversibly be compromised.

Btw, West Bank Palestine government recognizes Israel and more than 40% of their population is Jewish

At one point, Israel was even providing free electricity and clean water.

I always thought socialism is the way forward to people in Pakistan. Unfortunately western bribed molvies demonized it to general public and the elites who are the gods of this country would never allow it. These ideas will take place in Pakistan when it is free from post colonial masters.

I think you are confusing communist dictatorship with socialism. If you want to compare capitalism and socialism compare America to say Finland. While America is not a free market economy and Finland is not a textbook definition of socialism but you will get the point.

That is a myth propagated by Maulvis. Islam does provide basic principles but it certainly does not provide Systems. In fact it was the lack of a political system after the death of Muhammad that led to civil wars and the formation of the Shia cult.

Taimur we know you can talk the talk but can you walk the walk? Why don't you form a political party (preferably Anarchist) with other left-leaning intellectuals (if they exist in Pakistan)? Putting videos on the internet and holding study circles is useful academically but practically won't make a difference. Currently there is a vaccum in the political environment and you have the internet available to educate and organize the people.
