Owerri supposed to be the most beautiful city in the east but with all the oil money they have their government is failing them
When all your governors are busy building their villages instead of the city. City first before villages. Go to soludo village in isuofia. He has tarrd all the village roads. But there's no single good road In onisha.Awka. Nnewi. Obiano did the same thing. He built only agureri and umureri

@user-tc5ks1qt2d that is what I have been saying. Enugu has a befitting city, Owerri the same including Abakaliki of yesterday. When it comes to Anambra, our governors will leave our city to develop their villages until they are done constructing all the roads in their villages before they will come do one or two project in the city leaving our city with bad roads. I thank our billionaires in Anambra who single handedly help to tar our roads in villages making our communities to look good in Anambra, if not, our villages would have been the same with our cities that are full of dilapidated roads

The current governor is trying but what i love most to see in Owerri is pedestrian walk ways on all the roads with drainages well covered.
Owerri and Enugu is the only two cities we can cover our shame with. My Anambra is noy ready.

Owerri is edo language, while edo pronounce it as owere or odion were,elder stateman l think.lt is also the same name as yoweri the ugandan president..I dont know why,but owerri does not do it for me,it looks bare and simple.They need more green areas and trees in the city,just too plain..Thank you.

Owerri has deteriorated in neatness, sanitation and greenery maintenance, and the rot started first a bit with Okorocha and things became much worse under the present supreme court governor! Owerri by now ought to be the most green, most neat and most beautiful city in the south-east and south-south!
