Hey, Gian. I just wanna say thank you for making this patch to Curse of darkness. A few months ago i remember asking you if it was possible to make a code like Speed Ring to traverse the game's map faster, especially because vanilla CoD there is no upgrade or buff to run faster. And there it is, an easy applicable patch for the original iso. Great work! However, i get slightly curious as to why you've decided to make it for the PAL version instead of NTSC. Was it a request from someone before? Easier to code? No idea. Again, thanks for making this possible. Hope to play your mod whenever i put my hands on a better setup. And for more nice QOL's to the base game, if you dont mind =)
It was requested for PAL, yes. Coding from one version to another makes 0 difference, except for the fact that in the PAL version I have to work on multiple sections of strings due to the multiple language choice
Bro, I really appreciate you making this incredible patch, but there was a glitch before I killed the second boss, when I click on the circle to enter the boss's door, the game simply freezes and turns off automatically. Please bro, wouldn't you be able to fix this patch?
According to some users and my experience, this glitch does not seem to be a problem related to the patch by itself. Have you patched the european version of the game? Did you use ppf o matic? Are you using other patches?
Hello, if it's not inconvenient, could you provide me with the ISO download with the Patch? I play on my cell phone and I can't apply Patch to large files, sorry if it would give you more work or something, but it would help a lot.
It should work by just applying the ws patches. The ws patch does not modify the ISO so the speed patch is unrelated to how the widescreen works. I will make more tests if need be

The Curse of Darkness finally became perfect. If Konami is remaster of this game, it must be released with this patch.

I would prefer not to share ISO's due to piracy issues.
I will however soon post a video that shows how to run faster with a simple .pnach file

@@gian2074 the problem is the speed patch changed the CRC to 1D75C491, now the widescreen patch (F321BC38) is not recognized by the game
