We went in as first generation farmers asking for some kind of start up loan as we were struggling after equipment and livestock purchases. He said go to your bank. Their guidance was “this is what you can’t do, and here take these manure management pamphlets”. Meanwhile grain bins and hay sheds were being put up all over the county per grants

The USDA is one of the worst orgs out there and I wouldn’t work with them for any reason, at any level, ever.
