Trout & Grayling Fly Tying Tutorial - Flashback Hares Ear Nymph

An all time must have when it comes to fly fishing - the hares ear nymph. I love this variation that involves a few modern twists for some added attraction, particularly when the fish are hard on the feed!

Materials List:
Hook: Jig Hook size 14
Bead: 3.5mm slotted gold bead
Tail: Coq De Leon
Dubbing: Hares Ear Dubbing
Flashback: Uni-Mylar, Pearl, size 14
Rib: 0.1mm Copper Wire
Collar: Glo-Brite no.7
