Bloody excellent viewing, thanks sooo-very much mate!! Ahh the memories,..no plumbed in caravans, outside shower/toilet blocks & the water for you cuppa was taken from communal taps!! Top of the steps,... O'Briens amusement arcade, the site shop,.."mace" when i was there through the 80,s & of course "The Diner",..cafe & chip shop in one, Kerr's miniature railway & busses! Up the street to The Ship Inn & Cargills indoor/outdoor cafe. I remember the 2nd set of amusements, under the tunnel with the rail-tracks over it, over the road, just outside the Red Lion Caravan Site!!, next to the paddling-pool, which was freezing, but GREAT!! Ahhh those care-free halcyon days as a lad with me mum N dad, all just fond memories now, but the happiest days of my life!!! So simple compared to today's iPad,s, Laptops, MP3 players & digital cameras etc, etc!!
Really enjoyed that! My husband grew up in Arbroath, would have been 9 when you were holidaying there- it was interesting to see the town looked when he was a boy!
