Amazing and inspiring woman! She was more than a mathematician! She deserves a Nobel prize for advancing humanity's space cause! She has contributed to our hopes of being an interplanetary species. Besides, everything about going to space is physics! Smart black woman AKA 'human computer'!

If NASA went to the Moon then you would have to believe what the Bible says. Men would have to admit that they have been lying to the whole Earth about everything. Men would never admit that any Women are smarter than them especially Women of Color. Let our His- story book's tell it Men have done everything because we are smarter than everybody. Especially this one Race of Men without these gentleman the World wouldn't servive at all.

I'm English and I hesitated to comment because the injustice always makes me angry. . In 1956, I'd never met a 'person of colour' when my mother brought home an really nice married American couple she'd met at a party. . I remember them as very pleasant, but, I also remember giving them a typical teenage (16 yr old) mouthful on how black people were treated in America. Maybe I was unfair - they didn't argue back. Well, I don't remember if they did! Again, as a typical teenager I wouldn't realise they might agree with me and were not representative of the whole of America. . Thinking back I'm surprised my mother didn't tell me off for speaking to her guests that way.

It's sad we do not have photos of people like her and a short note of her history hanging in the hallways or class rooms of schools and in the lunch room and library as well.
