I'm sorry you missed it, dont be discouraged. You will get a reschedule. If you can, stay in downtown Chicago the night before.
Stay overnight closer to the interview site next time, especially if it’s a job you really want. You can get mentally prepared and be more relaxed when you don’t have to make the commute.

I hope you get another interview and like someone recently posted stay in Chicago the night before. I’ve actually done that before staying close to the interview because I was so paranoid. Lol
I've missed an interview before too! I ended up rescheduling and got the job anyway :) Don't be discouraged about it it happens!
I missed my interview with my current airline. I left my passport at home, I was able to reschedule and honestly that second chance made me even more prepared than ever walked away feeling confident. Traffic sucks and is so unexpected not your fault!
Im so glad you posted this because this is real life! Behind all the glamour and there is work and crazy traffic in our daily lives. Especially being on time is not everyone's strongest cup of tea. Me especially. This gave me the insight that I really need to buckle down if this is the career I want to pursue. So thank you very much for this! Good luck!
I enjoyed everything about this video! Too many youtubers are so fake and too busy trying to pretend perfect, they wouldn't have even uploaded a video like this. This video is real life. It showed that even with the best intentions and preparation, there are no guarantees things will go how you plan! And that's okay... because there are things we have no control over. I really liked that you took us on the journey from your outfit, what you planned to pack and the hair and make up! It was really cool. Some(not all) people probably just roll out of bed and throw something together for an interview, but the time and effort you put into the process shows how serious and ready to work you are! I really hope you will get a second chance interview and that you will bring us along for that one too! 🤗
Totally respect the rawness and reality of the vlog! We're all human and sometimes things pop up or happen that are completely out of our control, that's just life! I'm sorry you didn't get there on time. It wasn't for a lack of trying. It is unfortunate but maybe because you missed this, something better is coming up for you. Always sucks when things like this happens but I'm a believer that if you try and try and it doesn't work out, it's because something much better is on the horizon. On a happy note, you looked so pretty and that grey suit was super cute!
Don’t be discouraged when one door closes another opportunity opens for you. Maybe that other opportunity is bigger and better than this one.
It is what it is - throw it over your shoulder and move on. The comment about going down there the night before is a good one. You did look uber professional and ready for the interview. We appreciate your honesty and candor.

I missed an interview once. The funny thing is that I am always ten minutes early for just about everything. I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason. It will all work out for sure and for the happier.
I know the feeling I drive close to two hours to work, one way. Try getting a hotel next time, I know it’s costly, but it could pay off in the long run. Best wishes👍🏾✌🏾

If traffic/commute is ever involved in something so important, I suggest you get a hotel near the 'event'. Sorry that happened. It sucks.

Maybe for the re-appointment for the interview you should rent a hotel room in the city and make sure that you're on time, if you're not driving in, you would most likely not have such a delay. Best wishes for the next one, I'm sure you'll ace it!

I think you'll either get a reschedule or you'll have an even better opportunity :) And I totally get what you went through because I have an 1h30 commute to Uni everyday and because I have to take the train and subway, sometimes I barely make it on time to catch my train home. It sucks because I live so far away from uni that there's only one train every hour :( Today I literally had to run from the subway to the train station because I almost missed my train lmao I was a mess! Like other people suggested, maybe you could stay at a hotel the night before your next interview? I would totally do that next time if I was you! ❤️

Wonder where you were coming from . That city traffic is crazy . Use to live in Illinois now we live in Az and know this is a old video but reminds me of when we go back home and always feel like we’re racing to the airport and afraid we will miss our flight

So this job wouldn’t fit me at all lol but it’s nothing bad. Makes me happy when I see your vlogs Carrie💕 cause you’re doing what I always wanted to do🤗

Good Luck. When I was hired back in early 90's they wanted "The look" and it seems as some airlines have slacked on that. Not being mean but I have seen some frumpy looking FA's lately.
