If Harry stayed married with Angela, imagine how many "decisions" would Angela make BEHIND HIS BACK? For example, upgrading their apartment, or maybe buying a new high-class house, buying a new car, upgrading their new house again and again, going on a vacation, upgrading the vacation... The list goes on.. All without Harry knowing about it!
I have a brother who lost his first wife to cancer and had not married or met someone to marry for a long time after the death of his first wife. his sister in law introduce him to a woman and they dated and started living together and he ask for her hand in marriage and I think that is when the horror started. she planned this big event and give some of his siblings and nieces and nephew some role to play in this event called a wedding. she told me that I was to met and greet people as they came in which was a joke. no one liked her and they know it would be a horror story from the beginning. she treated his sons like they did not exist. it was just her and him. they got divorce two month later after the so called event. I wondered why he never saw her true evil nature when they were living together and it was not just a few month but close to a year. her side of the family thought we were uneducated white trash. when one of my aunts asked for the people going around to different tables playing music for us as we eat, my aunt asked for a classic piece and they did not know it I think because they looked at her like she should not have know it and walk away fast.
Maybe, if it's some super celebrity or the British Royal Family. For normal people, no, $10,000 is a ridiculous amount as a wedding gift. When my sisters got married, $150 was a fairly expensive gift. $300 would be a major, major gift.
Okay, I was getting a little worried because all these stories have some ridiculous amount of money being demanded by the party getting married. Starting to think that I was the weird cheapskate that looks for something with sentimental value or meaning, like a beautiful wedding vase, to give.
@@lissaalexander800 Yeah, these stories are all written as if every family has Fort Knox in their back bedroom. My BFF paid for her own wedding and it didn't cost that much, maybe a couple thousand, and her dress, while not a Louis Vuitton or other sky's the limit designer, suited her perfectly and looked drop dead gorgeous, and cost her less than $400. Her bridesmaids all wore dresses that were made by family relatives and still looked great. Venue was a local church, including reception. Music for reception? Her groom had a nassive record collection as well as 2-3 jukeboxes. Why pay thru the nose for a band when they had all of Ken's classic rock on 45 singles ar hand? LOL My various nieces who married had their gowns made, from styles they chose, by my older bro's wife, who was a professional seamstress and even TAUGHT the craft. And she made all the bridesmaid gowns as well. You don't have to have to pay thru the nose to have a "perfect" wedding. Just have the right bride and groom and supportive family. And that support takes many forms, mostly emotional and spiritual. Financial can help, but it's not the most critical.
In my experience I have found that most couples are more impressed with a beautiful gift that is handmade rather than store brought. My mother once worked with a woman who used to make these beautiful crochet tablecloths that would have cost several hundred dollars to purchase back in the 1970s. I’m not sure how much they would cost today.
This SIL is goofy. I'm happy to get $50 for my birthday or a video game. Heck I was crying when my sister gave me some Victoria's Secret perfume. And she said it was a regift cuz my nephews have asthma and she can't use it.

In our culture, wedding gifts are NOT necessary. Gifts are usually given if the guests are good-terms (such as close friends, close co-workers, buddy-buddy etc) with the groom or the bride. If the guests intend to give money as gifts, it's usually around $10 to $15 (commonly) or it can go up to $100. But in this story, saying $10K is TOO SMALL? And it represents the LOVE or HOW HAPPY the guests are? Ohhh Jesus!! Angela sure is ungrateful and greedy!

Apparently seems like greedy Angela expected her sister-in-law to support her new husband and her. She even tried to blackmail her over future kids about not seeing them.
I knew there had to be more to why Angela was being so money hungry; other than her just being money hungry. Lol, Angela and Chris' time of being married reminds me of some celebrity couples only being together a few days :).
OMG! She didn't spend $10,000 for the wedding. She didn't spend $30,000 for the wedding. The wedding was already set up and paid for, and then she spent another $30,000 she didn't have to upgrade the wedding! That's not just stupid, it's insane.
$10,000 isn’t enough? WTF? That’s A LOT of money. That’s like a whole year of living expenses or down payment on a house, a new car, or a used car with money left over. DAMN greedy, ungrateful. In my culture it’s customary to give a “red envelope” in other words money. Converted to USD around $70 is enough. If you have the means up to about $200, that’s about it, and she’s complaining about $10K? DAMN
Damn. Somebody gave me $10000 for a wedding gift I'd be naming our first child after them. I've never had that much money in one hit in my life. Guess the story proves the truth of the adage: "If you keep wanting more and more, you'll wind up with less and less."
When $30,000 was brought up twice, i had an inkling it was because she needed it for something. If anyone would give $1000 let alone $10000 for a wedding gift, i think i would cry with joy. Between $100-$500 is what i would expect from anyone as wedding gift. If you went above and beyond that i would be asking to make sure this is the correct amount (and depending on the person, check for any strings attached)
If my future wife wanted to fill out divorce papers that quickly. I wouldn’t of got married in the first place. They would of definitely talked about it before the wedding to have them ready a few days after the wedding.
Quite a few of my family members are rather well off. But if anyone would have given us a check for $10,000, I think I would've fainted dead away! Then I'd check with them a couple times to see what they had really meant to give us.
There it is. There's the reason. NEVER buy something you cannot pay for in a timely fashion, and NEVER ASSUME SOMEONE UNASKED & UNCONFIRMED IN ADVANCE WILL PAY.
If someone gave me $10k as a wedding gift, I would be calling them, not to complain, but because I’m sure it was a mistake and they meant to send $1k. Even $1k is really generous too.
if you are going to spend that much on a wedding or even get a loan for that much money you better make sure you can pay them back . also are sure you get a loan from somewhere within reason
If someone gives you 10 tousand dollars kiss him in the ass out of gratitude. Do you know how long you have to work for that money?! So many couple dont even have the wedding celebration. They just get maried and live normaly.
My brother gave me 3k. I was soooo mad! HE'S MY BROTHER! HE DOESN'T EVEN NEED TO GIVE ME A SINGLE CENT! I know he loves me as much as i love him. Is that not enough?
Forgot a couple of zeros? Seriously!? One more zero is $100,000. A couple of zeros is literally a million dollars. Did she SERIOUSLY think she was getting a MILLION DOLLARS as a wedding gift? As a WEDDING GIFT!? Just 10k is a life changing amount of money for some people. Even if she actually only expected 30K, That is unreasonable to just expect that from someone. There are a lot of people in this country living paycheck to paycheck who would kill for an extra 10k. The freaking nerve of that gold digger. Clearly she only married him because he was related to a CEO and thought that since she couldn't get to the CEO herself, she'd go for the CEO's brother with the expectation that she could weasel money out of her.
I have several things I want to say about this episode. #1: $10,000 for a wedding gift is very generous. #2: A CEO who would spend $10,000 a day on lunch (without being able to deduct it as a business expense) would in time go bankrupt. #3: Even if a company is worth billions of dollars that is the company’s money. That money is to pay the employees salary, pay for the lease and utilities on the building. Pay for the vendors the company uses as well as other expenses including all the taxes. #4: A CEO who uses company money for personal use could be charged by the board of directors for embezzlement. #5: When you have a wedding keep it within your own budget. If your dream is to have an expensive lavish wedding, then work and save up the money until you can afford it. Don’t expect any of your guests or family members to help you pay for it. 🎃👻🎃👻🎃 Have a happy Halloween 🎃 and make sure all your animal friends are safe.
I’ve been married twice I honestly think that between both weddings I barely paid 10k total. I think maybe I paid 11k if I include everything, I had 2 very small wedding. My first wedding dress was only about $500 and it wasn’t even a traditional wedding dress yet it was a 25lbs beaded dress. My second dress wasn’t traditional at all, since it was my second married I went with a purple dress instead of white. When I got married to my first husband(an abusive Asshole, he ended up trying to kill me & our disabled daughter) my parents gave us $2.5k and I was overwhelmingly thankful. I can’t imagine behaving like Angela is, it’s just shamelessly greedy.

She got carried away at her wedding and apparently no one ever gave her financial advice. I think they really went too far
Apparently seems like greedy Angela expected her sister-in-law to support her new husband and her. She even tried to blackmail her over future kids about not seeing them.
If I had that amount of money, it would have been used for a rainy day or for a house!
Gifts are always optional! Is beyond rude to suggest expect or demand a gift.
ten THOUSAND dollars is SO MUCH MONEY for a wedding gift!! what a weirdo
Good evening everyone ☺️
I knew there had to be more to why Angela was being so money hungry; other than her just being money hungry. Lol, Angela and Chris' time of being married reminds me of some celebrity couples only being together a few days :).
I thought maybe she was gambling, has luxurious shopping habits or a lover she was paying for.
I thought maybe she was gambling, has luxurious shopping habits or a lover she was paying for.
I thought the husband’s name was Harry.
I thought gambling or shopping, too!
2:48 into this and wow, gold-digger much? Because there's literally weddings that cost less than that.
OMG!
She didn't spend $10,000 for the wedding. She didn't spend $30,000 for the wedding.
The wedding was already set up and paid for, and then she spent another $30,000 she didn't have to upgrade the wedding!
That's not just stupid, it's insane.
10,000 DOLLARS???
I`d be dancing on the roof! what the hell is wrong with her??!!
DAMN
Good evening. $10,000 and she's griping? She's crazy. Have a good one
Damn. Somebody gave me $10000 for a wedding gift I'd be naming our first child after them. I've never had that much money in one hit in my life. Guess the story proves the truth of the adage: "If you keep wanting more and more, you'll wind up with less and less."
Both children, and all future dogs and cats!
10,000 a wedding gift. I got things like measuring gifts. And I was happy for that.
Hey everyone🥰! I hope u are all having a fantastic weekend🙃💜💜
If someone had given me 1000, I would have been so appreciative. I'm just shocked that anyone would be so selfish. Wow.
Good Evening Groovy Goulies 🎃 Stay Safe
The brother should have gotten an annulment so he wouldn’t be a divorcée. It didn’t seem like it was longer than the window for annulment.
If my future wife wanted to fill out divorce papers that quickly. I wouldn’t of got married in the first place. They would of definitely talked about it before the wedding to have them ready a few days after the wedding.
Evening y'all. Having a nice fire. Gonna make a couple of s'mores 😋
My entire wedding cost less than $10,000 😂
Quite a few of my family members are rather well off. But if anyone would have given us a check for $10,000, I think I would've fainted dead away! Then I'd check with them a couple times to see what they had really meant to give us.
Not a single C.E.O. would have the time for this nonsense. The cheque would be cancelled and the number blocked.
My SIL wasn’t a jerk at her wedding with my bro she liked the grill I won for them
Disowning seemed way harsh in this situation. They can still be in her life and teach her a lesson by not helping her.
Probably the last straw for them
Geena Rae I misread your comment, I didn't have my specs on. I thought you said drowning was a bit harsh! I suppose it would be!
Happy Saturday Everyone from Tacoma Washington! ( Stay Safe )
10,000 Is more than enough. She should be grateful.
That could feed alot of hungry kids
Good evening everyone from Kentucky. Sorry I'm late better late than never. I hope everyone's Saturday was great and having a wonderful weekend 🥰🤗
There it is. There's the reason. NEVER buy something you cannot pay for in a timely fashion, and NEVER ASSUME SOMEONE UNASKED & UNCONFIRMED IN ADVANCE WILL PAY.
If I was the sister in law, I'd be trying to give that money back; because having her at the wedding would've been enough.
Good evening everyone
Good evening! Hope all is well with you
I think I've said it before, don't count your chickens before they hatch 🐣
If someone gave me $10k as a wedding gift, I would be calling them, not to complain, but because I’m sure it was a mistake and they meant to send $1k. Even $1k is really generous too.
If my sister-in-law gave me $10,000, I'd be treating her to lunch for the next five years as a thank you.
Evening everyone!
I'm surprised that "company" that loaned her $30,000 wasn't just a loan shark.
Actually it was a company that specializes in cement diving shoes.
$10,000? Who gets that much for a gift. YES, you are NOT worth it.
if you are going to spend that much on a wedding or even get a loan for that much money you better make sure you can pay them back . also are sure you get a loan from somewhere within reason
Even the rich have budgets. Asking for more money is tacky.
And that billion dollars the company is worth is the company’s money. It is to be used for company expenses not for personal reasons.
Wow brother fixin to flip!! Lol
If I ever was to get married I don't see it happening and some one gave me 10,000.00 I would of been internationally grateful for the generous gift.
What is this lady smoking $10,000 dollars She wanted a $100000 or a million is she crazy.
Serves her right she deserves everything she got
Several people gave her over 10k for her wedding?
If $10k isn’t enough for someone, I will gladly take it in their place.
Her brother needs to get rid of this golddigger. She'll never stop squeezing money out of her.
You had divorce papers ready to go days after getting married?
That’s normal….🚩🚩🚩🚩
Why yes, I do want to blow up my one week old marriage over $10k.
"Angela, you do not get to spend my money, no matter how much money I have."
Are all Angela's demon spawns?
Change her name to Angelique and she would be a Cenobite.
That's a good question. 🤔
