Full swift , Full spec or 50//50 they all do the same dmg in trixion hitting well within 1-2% of one another ( the small disparity in dps ) mainly being due to Crit RNG . But due to how the game is designed Spec builds are more favored due to being able to do higher burst dmg compared to consistent dmg ( swift ) , Spec Based LC builds don't exactly do "big burst" like igniter / surge etc etc , but that doesn't mean its a bad thing . SS is more like a semi burst class now with its cooldown range , which in all honesty is pretty good and fits most raid situations fairly well . If anything deathstrike would probably be the one that has the highest chances of getting reworked to a "igniter" sorc in the SS Class , not LC . What is 50/50 build ? 50/50 is just a short form for 40/50/60% critical rate , Remaining Spec [ Salvation set ] The way to build a sharpshooter has always been to go 40% / 50% or 60% critical rate and distribute the remaining stats accordingly to what derives the next possible best gains . In this case : 40% - 2 crit synergies 50% - 1 crit synergy 60% - no crit synergy The only way to optimize a SS before and even after patch now , is to have multiple critical Rate builds . Thats why i went with 50% crit rate for my own build , its balanced and works well regardless of any supposed pug parties i join , so at the end of the day . People just have to decide which crit rate their aiming for and the pro's and con's that come with it . I am not sure if things changed, but you are not supposed to run swift/spec neck as petbuild summoner. You usually run swift/crit, so he is missing like 20% crit.

50/50 crit is like 39% something, then 15% from Adrenaline 3, and 40% innate crit from skill tripods. So yes, it's enough. If you have ADR1-2, you'll appreciate a crit syn though to have insane max damage.

@@468blade for spec builds in particular , due to lower atk spd . Charging shot instant fire is better due to the speedy application . In a parse setting it evens out and goes above the other holding tripod , its a different story for Swift tho .
I would rather have MI decrease movement speed, than attack speed. Movement Speed on Swift classes is not an issue. But even attack speed cap feels way too slow for every class, that I have played so far.

@@nicoopiee 100% correct, atm his build is spec/crit, so atq speed actually doesnt matter that much, since we'r heading to a "burst" type of SS which is kinda awesome, for what i've seen the diff between both still kinda blurr so, pick which one u like better aiming for faster CDs(swift) or big bursting CDs(spec) ... but DISCLAIMER, we dont hav that update yet

If the bird auto attacks scale with Swiftness for example , maybe Swift LC wouldve been in the spotlight now and not Spec lc . Spec LC became good because after the PTR update , Spec now sufficient value to the engraving loyal companion , be it skill dmg [ 7 : 0.085 % or 1 : 0.012 ] Ratio or Hawk dmg and Gauge recover . LC engraving also received a very fat 40% crit rate to all its hawk spells which more or less all these factors being accounted for , pushed The hawk to actually rival snipe and go above snipes Dmg in majority or every case . in a sense this PTR was a very big winner for LC , because now it really does feel like Loyal companion has a Distinct identity to it and the focal point of it being defined as the "hawk" . The design idea itself is pretty good , but the stat distribution may not be very well liked by the community ( since spec is more of a focal point now than swift ) . Doesn't help that Spec is expensive too ...

MI is probably fine since your extremely bottlenecked by the cds
