In High School, he couldn’t see her as someone that could roll up her sleeves to work hard. Her academic record didn’t shine, she comes from a well off family, looks like princess, is mischievous a troublemaker, YuTu perhaps saw her as high maintenance. How wrong was he when he got to know her?
A decade later, he met an even better version of her, and still he turned her down, because now he felt she deserved the best, and he was not worthy or capable of providing it to her. He assumed what she needed, but in fact she is a simpleton at heart, she just wants someone to have a conversation and spend the rest of her life with. She earned her right to live a lavish lifestyle, but she prefers her mums home made rice wine to red wine, she can live in his apartment instead of her penthouse, she can go and pick up his suit left in the seat in front of a crowd of audience.. she has never underestimated or looked down at him. He was always her first choice, he possessed everything she ever loved in a man, and defined her understanding of loving someone.
“This time I won’t ask why” as she turned around, steadily walked off holding up her pride, but her heart broken twice by the same man.
This scene reminds me of Notting Hill, “you know this [celebrity status] isn’t real, at the end of the day, I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her” …
Luckily … he eventually surrenders to his own affection, as he can’t no longer suppress his desire to be with her and pursues her …
Through QJJ, YuTu became a better version of himself, and theirs is a fairytale romance that tugs at our heartstrings.

How beautiful Dilraba is and how beautiful is her acting!
Dilraba and Yangyang Performance in this movie was exquisite. They complement each other. Yang Yang being the mature person just made the story so real. On the other hand Dilraba brought in excitement and surprise to the character.. Kudost to the entire cast , director , screen writer as well as the cameraman responsible for the lighting and the angle to take to showcase these actors expression and feeling. That makes the movie very interesting. Overall I rate this movie as ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ one of the the scale of 1-5. I truly enjoyed watching this movie multiple times. First time he rejected her was bc of his prejudice thinking she didn't belong in his world. Second time he rejects her is bc he believes he doesn't belong in her world. The 2nd rejection was hard for him to do and it only gets worse as time goes by. It was eating him alive.

One of the highlights of the story was the 2nd time Yu tu rejected Jingjing.😔😭one of the reasons he rejected her for the 2nd time was because he was overwhelmed of jingjing’s status being a superstar. I think. But it was a bittersweet ending.😍😘👍

For the viewers that are skeptical of the term 'breakup', I think in this case it is used correctly. JingJing has been treating YuTu as a boyfriend, and YuTu has been spoiling JingJing as a Girlfriend since he returned from Xi'an after their first arguement. Their relationship was no longer platonic, and if JingJing didnt ask "are you willing to be with me" to make it official, YuTu wouldnt have had to reject her, thus calling their non-platonic relationship off.
What if she didnt ask? They would have ended the night, but wouldnt have walked away from one another, they would continue to converse, leave messages, he would probably still be agreeable to JingJing's request ... and soon surrender himself.
What if he said yes? Two parts in the novel that tackle this question. For JingJing, the work she neglected for almost a month caught up with her, so she was very busy. She though to herself one night, had they been together, since that night, by now, they'd probably already be arguing over breaking up. As for YuTu, the night he met his Ex, XiaQing he walked out of the coffee shop, thinking what if they were already together, would this be something he would report to JingJing [that he met with his Ex], and what would be her response to it? Then he thought, no he wouldnt have told her, after all, it was her birthday today.
I think YuTu needed to go through the process of losing JingJing, discovering the chat history from 10 years ago, the realisation of how deeply he hurt her, otherwise he wouldnt have found himself so hopelessly in love with her.
Thank you for filling in those blanks that wasn't shown. You could tell he was fighting back the pain of walking away.
Honestly, he needed to experience that regret to realize how precious Jingjing is. He wouldn't realize all of Jingjing's effort and how she truly loves him from the very beginning. Thus, this part of the relationship is needed.

la escena está tan bien hecha ,los actores trasmiten lo que GuMan nos hizo sentir cuando leí la novela, DLRB logró que sintiera el dolor de Jingjing pero a la vez su fortaleza para así no sentirse humillada por segunda vez, YY trasmitió la tristeza y el arrepentimiento de Yu Tu por haberla dejado ir.
